@@linzkirk that's cos at launch it had some major problems, and most reviews were at launch. Since then it's had so many awesome updates. You can really tailor the gameplay to suit you now. Top tip - play around with the magnetic front hand slider.. so u feel real comfortable with handling the gun.

Resi 4 truly is the number 1 - the action orientated gameplay is the best - the level where your in the mine in the cart is stunning and the knife fight omg was tense - good top 20 list - awesome channel thanks for the good content all year GT 👍

I love PSVR2 and this list is spot on. I really think with the right games it could be one of the Best VR platforms. Let's face is PCVR game development is virtually dead except for Sims and quest just does not have the processing power. I was a little underwhelmed when got my quest 3 last week, I mean its amazing for standalone but there is nothing on it that comes close to RE4. I remember getting my PSVR2 in the summer. The first time I ran GT7 I was blown away. 400 hours of game play later I have to restrict the time I spend racing so I can still have a life outside of it. PSVR 2 is really quality over quantity. let hope 2024 continues to bring great games

Pcvr is far from dead you just can’t afford a pc and psvr2 would’ve been a good headset if it had pancake lenses but no it has frensal lenses that are slightly worse then the quest 2 lenses and pcvr with the quest 3 is godlike works flawlessly wireless looks the same as wired pcvr plus a lot more games to choose from but to be fair to you most people that are playing on pcvr atm are quest users not a lot of people are using pcvr headsets anymore cause they cost the same or more than psvr2 lol😅

@@jamesmoore4856 I Have a Pretty Powerful PC with Ryzen 7 & RTX4070, I use my with my Quest 3 for sim racing, its not godlike, but its pretty amazing. It still struggles to run Sim racing games like ACC anywhere near as well at GT7, but other games run well. But like I said "Virtually" dead not completely dead. I was talking about game development not hardware. There has not been a major release since Vertigo 2, and next no one is developing for PCVR alone. If any games come to PCVR they are usually made for Quest and PSVR2 as well like Arizona Sunshine 2. I would love PCVR to be fully alive again, I have had VR since 2016 when I got my Rift and loved it. But one thing that will always be great on PCVR is modding and I'm fully looking forward to preydogs UEIM. I agree about the lenses but Sony opted for OLED which give far more vibrant colours and better black levels, but I don't think work well with pancake lenses. Give it another year and see what PSVR2 does, hopefully Sony will make some great 1st party Games.

Just got the psvr2 for Christmas and right now I’ve been having lots of fun with walkabout mini golf. About 80% of my time on the headset has been spent on the game, I’m trying to get that platinum lol. Re4 looks amazing but I want to get comfortable in shorter experiences first. The eye tracking is amazing and overall haptic feedback adds a lot. I briefly tried out gran turismo 7, but I gotta ask Lincoln klay some recommendations for a racing wheel before I get fully immersed into that. Overall it’s been all positive besides some neck strain, which will go away over time 👍

If you're getting neck strain, look into getting the Globular Cluster mod for PSVR2, I got it for Christmas and it makes the headset alot more comfortable and excellent at maintaining the sweet spot.

Hi mate I was exactly like you when I got the PS VR2 at launch. Most of my hours have gone to Walkabout and I’m about 50+ hours put in. I would get my VR legs with games like this, Moss 1 + 2, Rez, Tetris, Zombieland etc. I remember I struggled with RE Village at launch and never thought I would be able to handle longer games like this but just finished RE4 and that was due to all the time I spent playing the less intense games first. Enjoy your headset and I recommend trying games that you don’t scream AAA as you will find some great games out there.

I just heard about the news of Firewall Ultra. So sad. This was supposed to be PSVR2's flagship FPS game like it was on the last PSVR. I even bought the deluxe edition to support the game. If you own the headset and didnt buy Ultra then its on you why they closed their doors! It was in production for so long. Bad Management I think ruined the game. Probably remote Covid BS. If you cant tell I am pissed! :)

Synapse is number ONE for me. Guys, it's absolutely amazing what they did with this game. Feels so good to destroy with guns and super powers. Especially on higher difficulties when it gets really interesting. 10/10 from me. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Great list! Thanks for creating these good videos. Love that you can do it in 10 minutes. I can understand this top 20. I would only change RE4 for RE8. Currently playing RE4 (and enjoying), but i had to get used to the fps solution. RE4 is still my number 1. I am so happy with the PS VR2. It feels like there is enough good content now and a lot more to come! Hope it will be more popular next year. Maybe if they drop the price a little, they get more people in to VR.

Look, when you can have a “Top 20” and switchback is number 20, it’s safe to stop listening to the negativity. Whatever complaints you’re hearing about number of games, the quality, it’s simply not true. Yes there are exceptions, some titles have released in a not great state, but the majority are blasted way out of proportion. Every headset has its place in the ecosystem and fill a void others can’t, PSVR2 is no exception

Asgards Wrath 2 is the first made for vr game that gives me Skyrim level scope and addictiveness. Wish it we're on psvr or pcvr but on quest 3 it looks almost as good so not too bad. Unfortunately meta is the only one supporting these huge games in VR. Sony can't even support the Ps5 with their 1st party studios, much less vr. Without RE psvr would be a dead stick.

Great list! 😁 Thought that Propagation would be part of it too! My top 3 is: 3- GT7 2- RE Village 1- RE4R GT7 is from far the game I played the most (more than 1600 hours since the game released including hundreds hours in VR), but those Resident Evil VR modes have been mind blowing experiences. RE4R VR is probably my favorite game ever with FF7, there will be a before and an after for me. Some will say that it's "just" an hybrid game, but to me it's all I've been dreaming about VR since I've got my PSVR1 6 years ago, being able to jump in a AAA game of this scale with those thrilling combat mechanics, level of details and graphics fidelity. I never would have imagine we'll come this far when I first tried VR back in the 90's... It was worth the wait! I feel blessed to live in this time 😛

@@sarahwhite7098 yes, indeed I prefer a great hybrid game with thrilling combat mechanics, awesome graphics and epicness than a "good" game developed from the ground up for VR with "good" mechanics and "good" graphics. Playing with physics is fun but that's not what I value the most in a game experience. If I want to throw objects, open doors or climb ladders with motion controls there are plenty of VR games to do it. I'd prefer the gunplay and boss fights of RE4 or the driving experience of GT7 with a wheel setup all the way!

No one ever mentions its but What the Bat? is a fun silly game that I've probably put most my VR time into. Gt7 is fabulous of course, re8 looks amazing but I'm just so bad at playing horror (LOVE watching it tho!), and while i love me some cod, i couldn't get used to pavlov - manual everything is so tricky for me plus i get sick quick playing it. I'll try to pick it up again next year and see if it finally clicks. I'll also be sure to pick up some of these because i love trying new games/experiences:)

Just got my PSVR2, was on the fence at first with all the negative reviews. It is pretty awesome though. Don't have any other VR experience to compare to. GT7 with a wheel and chair, both RE4 and 8 are pretty crazy, Moss, Synapse, Sierra Squad, Horizon, No Man's Sky, and looking forward to Vertigo 2, Wanderer and Ark. Hopefully get some more AAA, but not too bad. It is pretty pricey though, so not surprised by the low sales.

Re4 and GT7 are S tier experiences!! Imo you can now add Vertigo 2 to this list as well but that one is A tier due to a small amount of performance issues but the game itself is incredible. So glad to have a psvr2. I would have sold it if not for GT7 early on in its lifecycle but I’m glad that I didn’t

I am returning my Quest 3 because PSVR2 just blows it out of the water. The adaptive triggers and haptics I cannot live without now! I will continue to just use my Quest 2 for a sweat exercise machine :) Why is Quest 3 still using AA batteries in their controllers? LMAO

Because it's better to swap them out vs having a battery lose charge over time and your controllers are shot. Why doesn't ps let us swap batteries? It's so much better than having to stop when they're low.

@@gnoclaude7945 LMAO. That is funny sticking up for inferior technology. The Quest 3 controllers feel so damn cheap in my hands and super small. If PSVR2 controllers lose battery you can plug tiny power dongles in them that are super light and give you 4-6 hours more. The controllers are superior in EVERY single way versus Quest 3. Especially the rumble motors, adaptive triggers and it feels like I am actually holding a gun in my hand and not some cheap China plastic. Playing first person shooters on the Quest 3 is just so lame after experiencing PSVR2 because of the above reasons. And then there's the high resolution textures of PSVR2...

Yes, Switchback is brilliant now. It's Ike having your very own horror theme park that you can visit anytime. Deep Inky blacks with HDR. Everything just pops. Games like this just isn't possible on the Quest.

All I know is I expected a bad looking bad playing game and it looked fine and was really quite fun. It could have been a lot better and hopefully they improve if we get part 2. I saw a video about it, jumped in my beautiful car and gripped a ps5 and the vr. And strictly for only 2 reasons, one wire !!! It’s funny looking at the the wire diagram for the first one compared to the new one. Second of all i got a ps5 and it looks great next to my white pc. lol no but for real second reason is because i forgot and waited, there is more games..so yeah i think its a win ! Love how i can use the ps5 controller on my pc as well and my Xbox elite controller, its fun to switch back and forth between them because i love them both and its hard to says witch is better :P wow this a long comment..and needless, what am i doing !? LOL yes im baked…ha-ha.

I really like the NFL Pro Era on PSVR2, very easy game on the eyes/mind (for those of us who get motion sickness easily) it’s also been a great VR trainer for that reason and has been great in increasing my tolerance for extended game play. Great video!

I got a PSVR 2 headset today and was hoping to get some recommendations for a PSVR 2 ONLY games, but most of the games in your list are actually available on both the Quest 3 and PCVR. A shame that your title is so misleading. These are not PSVR2 games. These are VR game that happened to be available also on the PSVR2.
