I really enjoy "Definitely Maybe". Especially the part when he tells his daughter that she's his happy ending. 🥰

"I wish I knew how to quit you." That line always makes me sob buckets, both Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal should have won Oscars for their amazing work.

@kamsismith Yep, one of the most baffling wins in the history of the Academy Awards, for sure.

20:58 As an Austen nerd, I don't think I can let this one slide. Elizabeth doesn't make any advances for Mr. Darcy to spurn. His friend recommends her as a dance partner at a ball, and he snootily declines, not knowing she was within earshot. She then makes her mind up about him. It becomes clear that he falls for her first, and the story goes from there.

Moulin Rouge was my fave movie for over 20 years. So glad it was included. But another I wish had been included is the movie Once. It's so beautiful in it's simplicity.

I might get hate for this but The Notebook should not be deemed one of the best for how manipulative Noah is when he threatens to fall if Allie doesn't go out with him

Bill Murry in Lost in Translation? Was that a romance? Yikes.
@priscillawolffe4732 ай бұрын
Lost in translation really isn’t focused on romance, but about 2 ppl who are at different points in their lives who are lonely despite having families(bill Murray) and married(Scarlett Johansson) who become friends and offer companionship-no physical intimacy happens between them if you’re wondering. Honestly I’m not sure why this movie is on the list but it’s a deep,philosophical beautiful story.This movie is based off of a trip the director took in her life and meeting someone who impacted her life so much she made a movie about it.
