The same happens with the victim mentality where people are only shown one side of a story and others base their reactions only on one side of a story. A business in the UK banned a disabled person for life who then went on social media and played the victim with other people saying they would never use the business again. But the business was never asked for their side of the story that lead to the banning of this person from their premises. The whole saga was done by the disabled person to garner sympathy just for them. I left a comment saying I wanted to hear for the other side from the business and my comment was deleted by the disabled person because that's not what they wanted to read. The wanted to read oh you poor person, oh you're the victim, well I will ever use that business. But no I wouldn't write that because there are two sides to every story but all too often these days we're only shown one side the so called victim side and yet the victim is often the perpetrator of the wrong doing. Being disabled is the best way of getting sympathy from others and some disabled people will use their disability to think they have the right to get whatever they want lawful or not. They will fabricate a story and others will believe it without hearing the other side of the story. A local model railway shop sold a model locomotive to a man who when he got home dropped it broke it. He then went back to the shop told them what he'd done and tried to get a full refund and the shop rightly refused. This man then went on Google reviews saying this shop knowingly sells defective merchandise to customers. It was only the reply from the shop telling the man to tell the truth and of what really happened that exposed him as a liar and yet his review of the business was done to get sympathy just for him.

Both refined fats and sugars are a problem. There's nothing wrong with plant based foods. The low fat diet didn't didn't actually pick up until the 90s. And instead of promoting healthy plant foods like sweet potatoes, fruits, etc. they just promoted refined carbs, which of course is a problem to many people with blood sugar issues as it caused them to over eat. Instead of fiber enriched food thats supposed to stablize blood sugar. That's why the diet failed.

Before I was born in 1958, my mother had a colored past. She was involved in situations of ill repute but that was out of survival. In the early 50's she was working in a club that was mobster run and she was one of the girls there. A trial came with this senator, and she heard his name and said, oh he's not so bad, which meant that she knew he was in a sketchy situation. They slipped her a micky and she woke up in a state hospital where they conducted a slew of tests on her to try to get her to forget about this man. They have her drugs and shock treatments. True, but the issue is that I actually know very few who 'trust the government'. Scepticism is something that is normally good, people distrust it because its not on tehir radar. Its really not that important that people believe conspiracy theories so much as its important people believe that government needs to be reformed. Espcially in the states because MOST of these are the american government lying to you. I'd argue not many are 'good' but there is a BIG distinction between the US and otehr countries. The danger in the US is people increasingly thinking ALL forms of government are illegitimate, which obviously will open a wide gulf between you and what otehrs are doing for political involvement.

They still have the edge in controlling the narrative by letting all of the false conspiracies play out and distracting us from the real ones. Conspiracies are a real thing, they always have been, but the internet has become a double edged sword for conspiracy theories, you're going to get cut either way. People have been so up on edge about vaccine theories as of late they forgot about the virus itself for instance, there are still plenty of legitimate concerns about it's origins. If it's dividing us it's probably helping them.
