@@zakk219 Purely speculation. She was bipolar, being bipolar does not cause hallucinations. There's no record of her having schizophrenia as well. Flights in the so-called "southern hemisphere" are not tracked via GPS shortly after leaving land. If you want to know WHY, then look at the United Nations logo. Then look at an image of the flat Earth map. Spoiler: They are the same. The truth hidden in plain sight. It also explains flight paths and stop-overs that appear to be "out of the way" that are actually more like a straight line.

Elisa Lam was murdered by the person who have access to the roof and the water tank. The roof and and water tank are locked and no sign of damage. Obviously the person who hold the key is the murderer. her strange behavior at the lift show that someone is stalking her and that person knew where is the blind spot of the security camera so he can avoid been capture by camera. This means suspect must have work in the hotel.

I've replied to others with this before, but here it is again: Yeah, that's pretty small beans compared to a lot of the other ones. Plus, there's plenty online debunking it. Like, sometimes those water tanks are left open and have ladders propped up against them. A Chinese guy went there and proved it's actually not that hard to get up to the roof. He made a video of it. She also had a habit of taking pictures from rooftops. She had been suicidal at points. She was also more than just bipolar; she suffered from delusions and psychosis as well, and she hadn't been taking some of her meds. It appears as though the video of her in the elevator had been slowed down at parts, thus making those hand gestures appear weird, when really they weren't. I mean, I'm not saying either way, but I don't think that one's as big of a mystery as people make it out to be. People just really want a good mystery even when there isn't one. As for the Cecil hotel being "cursed", nah, it's LA, fam. Huge city with lots of people. 99% of the people who have stayed there over the years never had anything weird happen. Jack Unterweger, Richard Ramirez, suicides, etc., just coincidences.

So, here's what I think. She gets in the elevator and choses ONE floor. When the doors don't close, she realizes should could get stuck and trapped in the elevator so she steps out of the elevator in case it malfunctions. She was smart, she was worried the elevator could drop, stop, or power off so she wanted to be in the hallway. She was standing in the hallway to test the elevator's function before she used it. After standing there, she steps back IN the elevator in an anxious, worried motion and presses all the buttons, in hopes that it will fix the elevator. She hops right back outside the elevator, worried it could trap her in. This is where she starts making the weird hand gestures. I feel that, since she is Chinese, the Chinese have a different way of speaking with their hands. As Americans, in our culture, we kind of flop our hands from side to side like we are giving words to somebody. Chinese people are more animated with their arm gestures, their more artistic and creative with the way they communicate. The way her arms and hands were moving, looked like she was communicating with somebody, OR, she could have actually been talking to herself. Because she used social media a lot, it was probably her thing to kind of have an expressive personality even if she is by herself. Either way, it looks like her hand gestures are communicating that the elevator is stuck. The way she moves her hands parallel, and then gestured in a downward motion, looks like she is describing her concerns about the elevator, how it is stuck, or could drop and lose power all together, which to her was extremely scary. Then something crazy happens, her right hand "attacks" or, "grabs" her left hand, repeatedly over and over again. Again, all languages have hand gestures. In this motion, especially concurrent in Chinese culture, as well as American culture, it looks like she is pleading. You can even do it yourself, make the same hand gestures she is making, you learn they are not all that bizarre but explanatory to how she was feeling. She looked like she was pleading, or worried. Probably begging to God that the elevator worked. If I was in her shoes, in a creepy hotel where the elevator wasn't working, I would make hand gestures, plead, and talk to myself as well. Think it about it guys. Whenever I have been in bad situations where I am afraid, I do talk to myself, I am extremely expressive with my hands. Even when I am cleaning by myself I make hand and arm gestures to explain how I feel. Like, I would "clap" and stretch before starting. I digress. Either way, if Elisa was not alone at this point in the hallway, there would have been proof somebody else would there. Somebody would've walked up to her. It honestly does look like she is alone. She is pleading and expressive by herself. She walks away after the elevator doors don't close because she is smart. She didn't want to stay in a broken elevator. I feel like we all would've done the same. She takes a left towards the fire escape. This is the hallway where her scent was at, that the dog found. The same hallway where she goes out the window. She goes out the window and uses the fire escape stairs because she is trying to go to her floor, to hop through the window because the elevator won't work. There are stairs lining the entire side of the building. She thought it was her only safest option. Now, whether she knew what floor to go on would be confusing. If she already knew the floor she was on, who knows if her anxiety or mania made her forget. She could have gotten lost trying to find her floor, or maybe the window wasn't unlocked for her to crawl back in. She probably went on the roof to walk across to the other side of the building to use the opposite fire escape stairs to try to see if the other windows are unlocked. She uses the fire escape and the roof because she feels it is safer than walking down the hallways inside the hotel. She knew the hotel was scary at that point, and she thought it would be clever and smart to sneak around the escape routes back to her room, than roaming inside. I would honestly feel the same. So she's on the roof now. Somebody either forced her on the roof or she crawled up there by herself. Once she is there, there is probably somebody else there who sees her. At this point, I doubt she was stupid enough to crawl in the water tank by herself and drown herself. She is a smart, well mannered Chinese Canadian. She follows rules and she is competent. She would never just crawl in an obvious public water tank on top of a hotel by herself. In Canada, I believe they store their water in tanks as well. If she thought maybe the tank were stairs back into the hotel and she could have slipped and fallen in, unable to get out. That is a possibility but we have to remember, she is smart. She was smart enough to not hang around in the elevator so she's smart enough not to fall into a water tank. Somebody was probably on the roof who killed her. Somebody waiting, who lived there. Now, that person probably left the scene and fled completely back to skid row because they knew people would be looking for the girl. But this also doesn't make sense because if somebody was insane enough to kill a random stranger in the most boring, slow way in a water tank that they probably used for their own water too, I doubt they would be smart enough to leave what they considered to be their home. The cops would have definitely found somebody since they searched the hotel roof I think on the 6th or 7th day. I don't want to believe that Elisa dropped in the water tank by herself but, perhaps she didn't know any better. They did say the water tank doors were open when they found her, and it was also late at night so she might not had seen where she was going. Pitch black as it was she was probably looking for a ladder back into the hotel building, and she slipped and fell in the water tank. You can't get out of the tank once you fall in. Perhaps if you look at the blueprints, the water tank could be next to an actual hatch back into the hotel building and she got mixed up between the two. Either way, I feel like I see her intentions and she was doing her best to find her room. She was too afraid to go outside, she was too afraid to stay in the hotel, so she used the fire escapes. It makes sense to me. Perhaps other people might agree. Also, since she was having a manic episode, she might had even wanted to go swimming to feel safe. She could have been hiding from somebody so she wanted to hide where she felt it was safe. She probably didn't think shed get stuck in the water tank so she accidentally drowned after falling asleep... That is another possibility. She could have been chased in that hotel which was why she was found in the staff area trying to run away. Then the elevator wasn't working so she got extremely worrisome, and wanted to HIDE in the water tank secretly. Not knowing how to get out, she passed out from lack of sleep and drowned peacefully.

Yeah, that's pretty small beans compared to a lot of the other ones.

The Havanna-syndrome gave me a flashback of what I´ve experienced in a city park and it totally creeped me out. It was the second time that I was at a place where you can expect a decent amount of animals making noises, but it was perfectly silent. The last time, I experienced it, it was just before a landslide. This time, I walked and saw so many people enjoying life but I felt uncomfortable. I don´t know if it was panic, but I felt like being submerged in water. I really felt pressure on my ears and skin and everyone else was utterly oblivious to it, except for the guy with the dog, who refused to enter... I walked a little further and I could start hearing something that sounded akin to a truck unloading rocks, but unending. I know how loud it would normally be but it wasn´t and it was even deeper than this sound. In fact, it was apparently just at the lower end of the frequencies I could hear. I couldn´t locate the source and didn´t want to get any closer as I felt uncomfortable with that sensation of pressure. Thus, I turned back and left. I have no bloody idea what it could have been. I´m pretty certain that the feeling of being submerged was airwaves impacting me. This would indicate that it was probably above 100 DB, even though I could barely hear it. Something like this, could ruin your ears without you even hearing a bang.

Elisa Lam's behavior does make sense if she had a severe bipolar episode. There was a recent case in the US where an athlete with bipolar disorder called 911 convinced there was an intruder in his house trying to kill him. Elisa thinking someone was following/trying to harm her is very much along the same lines. Now, how she got into the water tank is a different question, but that could be as simple as an employee forgetting to lock it or something.

Let me add another mystery that never investigated properly. On October 2016 a Turkish Airlines cabin crew found death in her bathroom by hanging herself at Long Island Marriote hotel. She was there for a layover so she was on duty. They said it’s suicide but she bought tickets for next weeks concert in Istanbul. She also bought gifts for her niece from NY to bring with her. On april 2016 Turkish Airlines flying chef found death in his bathroom in the same hotel. It looked like he suicided by hanging himself too. there wasn’t any security camera on 4th floor of the hotel where both incidents happened. A Captain said it’s impossible to make that knot by yourself to hang it like that. And how both of them knew the same style of knotting to hang themselves. they say 2 Japanese Airlines cabin crews also suicided in the same hotel too. But couldn’t find any news about it. The interesting thing is that in 2014 an university student boy jumped from the roof of marriots. He took drugs and jumped they said but his family said he never used drugs and he wasn’t a kid who would kill himself. We will never know what happened to them

There was one time my family and I went out for dinner at a pizza restaurant, we went to find our tables and ordered, waited patiently. I was getting bored so I was looking around, I noticed there was another family in a table beside us and there was a baby in a baby chair which I thought is cute, I noticed that they just started on their food and also noticed a little girl sitting beside the mother while the mother was feeding the baby some baby food. The little girl had short hair and a scar on her cheek near her ear but it kept getting covered by her hair. Our food finally came, the other family beside us was still eating like every other normal restaurant customers. Before eating my mom would always tell us to wash our hands since we'll be using our hands to eat pizza and chicken So I went to the rest room to wash my hands, it took me only like a minute because I wanted to eat already so I had to wash really quick When I came back to the table and saw my parents and sat at the table but when I looked at the other table with the family, they were gone. Like- the table was clean and there was no baby chair or anyone sitting in that table. I stopped eating and asked my mom who's sitting in front of me "wasn't a family beside us were also here?" I tilted my head referring to the table beside us and my mom said no one was sitting there ever since we got in the restaurant I hope some people notice this and it's just something that happened to me few months ago.

As a Malaysian, I am deeply troubled by the disappearance of flight MH370. It was probably the biggest mystery in all of history, let alone aviation. It's kinda sad to think that 200+ people disappeared and no answers have been given to their loved ones. If the whole wormhole thing has suddenly appeared 40 years from that time, I hope to see it in person. I can't give my own theory on this but wormholes are the most hopeful ones. All in all, I hope mysteries of disappearances will have answers.

Once, a few years ago, my husband and I woke up in the middle of the night to an eerie sound: it was like a powerful high-pitched vibration, something similar to the Larsen effect of two video calls being activated in the same room, but so big, that it seemed to fill the air all around, coming from entire space outside the house. It really felt like something bigger than the house. It became stronger and stronger for some minutes, then it disappeared. We remained paralyzed in our bed in puzzlement, we spoke to each other only to make sure that the other one had heard it too and it was not our imagination, and fell back asleep. This is a very quiet neighborhood, with literally nothing but houses and small shops in a range of kilometers. The sound was too near, too strong and lasted too long for coming from an aircraft or a passing-by vehicle of some kind, which is highly unlikely to pass by here anyway, especially in the middle of the night. We never knew what was that. Did something similar happen to anyone else?

Missing children is the most disturbing thing I could hear. There was a case here (Italy) some years ago, of two brothers aged roughly 8 disappearing while playing in the surroundings of their house and being found dead only years later in a deep hole in an abandoned worksite merely a kilometer far, with signs that made experts think that the kids had entered the hole alive and died from being stuck there. How were they not been found earlier? I mean, they did international-scale searches for them, but a dangerous place near the disappearing spot was literally the first place where it would have made sense to look for them, and they could have been saved.
