@@darkpope6667 .....did you seriously just try to compare animals killing each other for the sake of survival with HUMANS doing it mostly because of the fur and or just straight up enjoyment? I can understand hunting for food. I will never understand hunting for fur, scales, or just a simple and frankly sick enjoyment And let’s not even talk about the “if those animals are strong they should do the killing” part considering animals ARE strong but aren’t fucking immortal and they really wouldn’t survive for long if they weren’t strong or smart in they’re own way.

I used to have a blue throated macaw which is an endangered species. There's only an estimated 300-500 left. So a lot of bird breeders are trying to breed them to raise their numbers, and stop people from catching wild ones to take home as pets.

Haast's eagle (Hieraaetus moorei) was the largest bird of prey that live in the south island of New Zealand. 🦅 With a wingspan of between two and three meters, and weighing up to 13 kilograms, it was larger than the American Bald eagle and had talons as large as tigers; perfect for hunting and feasting on the moa, another large native bird of New Zealand, til its extinction 600 years ago by Maori settlers. Fun (noso-fun) fact: Māori legend say that the poukai (it name in Māori) would often swoop down and take children from their families.

Me after the video: Oh that god, they used the correct term for saber-toothed cats (also, they may have become extinct due to the mega fauna that they were specially designed to hunt, going extinct. All that was left was smaller, quicker more agile animals that they couldnt hunt, most of the time..Thus they dyed out due to being too specialised..) (Also, jee things were killed of by humans...no surprise there)
