Watch Enemy Of The State . Pause when Jon Voights character info is shown . His birthday is 9/11 . Watch Terminator 2 . Pause to read the spraypainted warning on the bridge during the bike and semi chase . It reads something like beware 9 11

You think those are signs? How about this one: the number that citizens are “told” to call in case of an “emergency”? 9-1-1. Yeah, that’s right. It’s all connected. Im sure these drones are involved. The Powers That Be even told us to call a specific number, if we notice any drone activity. The number? You guessed it. 9-1-1.

The thing is he doesn't even mention the ACTUAL conspiracy issues with the movie. When Cap questions Nick Fury, Fury says, "It's called compartmentalization Captain." Not only that, where do they keep The Winter Soldier? In a bank.... Banks run the world.

@Charlesb8823 сағат бұрын
Arlington Road wasn't well reviewed when it came out though it has its fans. Hot Fuzz, was well reviewed but it is too dark comedy for this list. The Wicker Man, a cult classic, is more religious horror then straight conspiracy film.

Great list. I have to find Z. Costa-Gavras also directed the highly regarded Missing (1982) But, I have to say, I appreciate movies like The Conversation getting more recognition as time goes by ... but it;s gotten to the point it has now become OVER rated. The Conversation is rather drawn out and boring. The Parallax View, too. I have never understood why Parallax is considered SO great. Does anyone ever mention the terrible scene in the water drainage pit and ... oh the hell with it. JFK is the first great movie I think of when I hear Conspiracy. And, yeah, how can Conspiracy Theory not be here. Gibson (despite his rage inducing breakdowns in real life ) was great as the paranoid psychotic(?); and julia Roberts perfectly cast as the journalist Mel (seems to be) stalking.

Dustin Hoffmann not so young in TMM ... 39 year-old playing a college kid. That's why the film doesn't work.
@BruceWalther-s2l4 сағат бұрын
Hoffman was about 8 years older than he was portraying in The Graduate too. BUT, in defense of Marathon Man I believe there is an inference that Hoffman's character is a college graduate attending Post Graduate school. Anyways the character is still meant to be considered closer to 30 than 40 ... we assume.
@alanwhit87703 сағат бұрын
@@BruceWalther-s2l fair point, but Hoffman played him as an immature, over-emotional whiner, easily duped by the girl (and William Devane!) ... I just think he's a very limited actor emotionally, and I love KvsK and Tootsie.
@BruceWalther-s2lСағат бұрын
@@alanwhit8770 Dustin had a memorable stretch of good roles: Midnight Cowboy; Little Big Man, Straw Dogs, Papillon, Lenny (Bruce ... his forgotten best acting role?), All the President's Men and Marathon Man (the same year 1976); Kramer vs Kramer, Tootsie, Death of a Salesman (great TV version, 1986 with early John Malkovich role; and Stephen Lang...), Rainman (1989). Geez, even Wag the Dog was over 25 years ago. Hasn't done anything memorable for awhile, no? Which kinda proves your point. His roles and movies have not been memorable since the 90's. I liked Warren Beatty's Dick Tracy (1990). Hoffman as Mumbles was small part but amusing. anyways I spent more time on Hoffman than i planned. This is me chuckling at myself😅
