One of my favorites that should have been on this list was Tyrantrum. This Rock/Dragon type from Kalos is based on the Tyrannosaurus Rex, and its powerful jaws make it a force to be reckoned with.

Honorable Mentions: *Kommo-o *Turtonator *Kingdra -The OG dragon only weak to Dragon (prior to gen 6) *Drampa *Alolan Exeggutor -Hey, we have plenty of non-dragon dragon-type Pokémon like Altaria, which always looked more bird than dragon to me. So I see no reason not to include the walking palm tree. *Druddigon *Zygarde -Which do you want? 10% form (Dog), 50% form (base), or 100% complete form? *Dragalge -From Poison/water-type Skrelp to a Poison/Dragon-type. *Tyrantrum -It only seemed like a matter of time before we got a T-Rex Pokémon. *Noivern *Hydrapple -The Applin line is quite diverse with it's evolutions like with Tyrouge. And *Archaludon -Duraludon was already tough with a Gigantimax form, but then the Gen 9 DLC gave it an evolution.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get a dragon type eeveelutions in legends ZA, of course because of Zygarde but also because it would be a great counterpart to Sylveon and because it's the only special attacking type that hasn't gotten an eeveelutions yet

Bear the following in mind: the member of the pair that has type advantage generally is worse. Espeon and Umbreon has the glass cannon/tank duality; and Glaceon has apparently misplaced stats while Leafeon has physical synergy. Sylveon has similar stats to Leafeon, but its high stats are the Special stats. If they made Drakeon official, its stats are likely to lack synergy.

I'm still waiting for gamefreak to make the following types of dragons into pokemon: 1): true dragon/fire drake/iconic dragon 2): salamander: a wingless dragon known fore its ability to breathe fire so hot that entire kingdoms get turned to ash. 3): basilisk: a vile dragonic creature with a breathe and gaze so toxic that almost nothing but the cry of a rooster can kill it. 4): Hydra: brother to Cerberus and the son of Typhon the hydra was so fearsome that even Hercules had trouble with it. 5): Ampthisbaena: born from the blood of Medusa's severed head the Ampthisbaena is a long snake like dragon with a second head at the end of its tail. 6): leviathan: the legindary sea monster known as one of the 7 lords of hell, and the king of the sea that God himself had to stop it from bearing children. 7): wyvern: often mistaken for dragons the wyvern has 2 legs 2 wings, and a giant stinger at the end of its tail. 8): wyrm: if a snake, a wurm (insect), and a dragon had a child this would be it, as this type of dragon lives underground eating through anything that gets in its way.

@JamesDavy2009 all do respect I wrote this list with the top 9 dragons I had on the top of my head as I was writing, and i was ignoring these pokemon you listed as , when dragon types were introduced I was expecting a adisinal 18 dragon types. With dragons like the Lyndon wyrm, Quetzalcoatl, and many others. As the pokemon you listed, I just don't find there designs as decent as I was expecting them to be expecting them to resemble their inspirations a little more, with the salamander and true dragon being a mythical and legindary respectfully.
