Hey everyone! Playing through my top 20 Green Day bass lines today. What bass lines did I miss? Let me know in the comments! :)

Mike's bass lines are the reason I picked up bass. Just showed me how sick the instrument could be.

All the basslines here are great. But I'd give honorable mentions to Emenius Sleepus, Panic Song,, Reject, East Jesus Nowhere, East 12th Street (section from Homecoming) & Makeout Party

Awesome video man! Love that you represented most of their discography with this list (the trilogy is underrated in my opinion). Mike Dirnt and Green Day are a huge reason why I picked up bass a couple years ago. I think Insomniac is Mike’s best album, so many sick bass lines!

@@DanielSwisherMusic it’s a very solid album. Not (1) bad song. The album had a handful of songs amongst thier best songs. It’s a very strong 8/10 what would you give it,

I’m surprised to see 80 left off. That’s one of my personal favourite bass riffs of his and off Kerplunk, but at least No One Knows got recognition. Great list and nice FOA troll haha.

Dude I love you! Your bass playing is amazing :) Do you have an amp for this tone or a PC plugin? Could you tell me?
@Fel1xF7W10 ай бұрын
they were much more technical with their first two releases. i wonder why 1039 and kerplunk had more musicianship compared to the rest of the discography. also, longview is an iconic bass line, but definitely not the best. i would give #1 to no one knows

los patrones rítmicos de la mano derecha de Mike son distintos. En español se le dice "rasgueo". No hacés el rasgueo correcto de Mike.
