I own the American psycho book. Also made my boyfriend watch the movie because he's never seen it. (He didn't understand the ice nine kills song about it so I made him watch the movie) My tops: American Psycho, Trick R Treat, Final Destination, Joyride, 13 Ghosts, The Mist, Saw, Cabin in the Woods (borderline comedy so that one may need a different list), Darkness Falls (thank you, J!), Friday the 13th 2009 (came out on my bday on Friday the 13th that year), Jeepers Creepers, House on Haunted Hill, and Identity!

I have read the novel of American Psycho multiple times. It is way more graphic, but also even more topical and on the nose when dealing with American consumerism and greed in the 80’s. the movie captures the dark comedic tones perfectly, while leaving out the more gratuitous scenes. The violence in the book makes sense though, it is very methodical and fits with the character of Patrick Bateman and his obsessive compulsion with trying to fit in, it serve as a metaphor for the 80’s capitalism as a psychopathic force consuming and driving our daily lives. There are way more references to 80’s music outside of Phil Collins and brand recognition, almost every chapter starts with Patrick describing, in meticulous detail, the outfit that he has prepared for the day. It is genuine contemporary masterpiece, I highly recommend that anyone who enjoyed the movie to check the book out!

Ju-on is the original grudge. The original Ring is called ringu. Both American adaptations are great, but ju-on 2 is 10x better and scarier than the grudge 2.

High Tension and The Hills Have Eyes are both movies that make me feel dirty. Hostel is the same. Rob Zombie films feel almost like some sort of 'glam' filth in comparison! I wish they'd do a watch along with this film. I can't ever find anyone to discuss it with. I really feel it's a great movie and exploration of possible MK ULTRA victim and his cia handler with a woman experiencing Stockholm syndrome OR a man suffering a schizophrenic break and an emotionally vulnerable woman getting caught up in it because she fears losing anyone further. It's an intense ride! 😳

there are two Black Christmas movies the first remake was very good . and the second remake was this hate on men kind of movies I do like that the girls banded together taught against bad killers I'll also give Carry Elwin credit he did a good performance in the movie still not my favorite horror movie . this is a video game which Angry Video game Nerd might agree is shit . this game called One Leaves it sucked turned out to be nothing more than this stupid annoying public service message which made no goddamn fucking sense at all . Doom Eternal and Biohazard are exellent games to play I want to see a reboot of Friday Thirteenth game come back this game was good to play I hated there had been restricted areas to go through and lots of glitches in that game those glitches were funny to see . Skywalker Saga Lego's game was perfectly done worlds do look like they are the movies I thank the Lego team for an awesome job with this new one . 💯💯💯💯💯 👍👍
