I love how Alex doesn't argue with Joe when he says "it's the same gun" and then half an hour later they re visit it and Alex proves he's right. If you watch enough of these Alex is ALWAYS right but suffers in silence, lol EDIT: I have since watched the film and can confirm the same gun was indeed carried out of the quicksand on a sling. Adam then places it down off screen to say something about the asteroid. In the subsequent scene whilst still en-route to the 2nd half of the ship the gun is clearly visible.

@@frenchonion4595 Back in the day you you paid a ton to have a movie camera to film your movie, a passion project you poured your hear and soul into and so you made sure you had everything on point and were very serious and committed to making that film...now it's easy for anyone to get a decent camera and CGI crew and so any dope can just slap it together. What we're also seeing is what the digital-MP3 age did to music now happening to movies. Movies have been cheapened. Quantity over quality. I mean look at the 1950's, all films were a big deal and never a 6/10, even actors had to be able to sing and dance. Singers had to be able to sing, while today you can fake it 'til you make it. You can guarantee that if it's a streaming movie, a movie made by a streaming service, that it's gonna feel like it. It's assembly line BS with the same woke formula. Gee whiz, the girl saves the day at the end. haha Nearly every movie now is a 6/10 now and predictable. This movie lacked in script material so much that it couldn't even fill 1.5 hours. Incredible. A movie like this should have been 2 hours. It should have been way better, lots of potential, but it's just another rehashed story that we've seen in so many other films..sprinkled with dino glitter.

@@thomasbell8451 So it's that tired cliche of an alien that looks exactly like a human? We could forgive such things in the Star Wars and Star Trek era before they had cgi and could only use men in costumes/makeup, but I'm getting tired of aliens still always being bipeds with 2 arms, 2 eyes, nose, mouth, and so on. James Cameron's Avatar is the most egregious, because you've got the money to make some truly alien looking aliens, but then to make the audience like the aliens such as in district 9 takes writing skill Cameron didn't have and couldn't find. So he took the easy way out and made them human-like with adorable animal features and a pleasant blue color.

Last year I would’ve argued with you and told you how foolish you are. Sadly AJs meltdown and scolding everyone for not liking She Hulk left a bad taste in my mouth and many others. I watched every video he posted. He’d go three days without posting and I’d go to the most recent video and comment “we’re waiting” and other cringe. Honestly I never cared for Alex that much especially in the beginning and AJ was definitely my favorite followed by OJ. But being told to “grow thicker skin” by AJ (the guy who refused to stream Elden Ring because “chat is being mean”) was just a hypocritical spit in the face. I’ve struggled to watch ever since and so have many other loyal fans. Pre she hulk meltdown a movie review of any kind that was posted over 5 hours ago would’ve cleared 100k views. This has been up for 18 hours and still isn’t at 80k... I’ve watched maybe 5 AJ videos post meltdown but they’re still a struggle. It just reminds me of that childish friend that lashes out emotionally and says terrible things then pretends it’s all cool the next day. Then they never apologize for the terrible and knowingly wrong things they said and try and play it off like it didn’t happen because they don’t have the honor or integrity to say “I went too far”...That’s all I see him as now, he’s literally “that friend”. His tirade also brought out the worst and I saw the “toxic male gamer” the media speaks of. The most annoying part was that he was having a meltdown over a show that he is the butt of every joke for. And not funny jokes mind you, but more just blatant insults than actual jokes. It was such a shill moment that it broke me. After 10 years and three accounts I unsubscribed. I re-subscribed a month or two later but basically for no reason seeing as I don’t watch them. Show is almost ruined for me and I’d gladly watch a different trio if they could match this vibe. Open to suggestions.

I completely agree. AJ should let Alex take control of movies and some show reviews. I feel like Alex has a better grasp, improv, critical thinking, and better thinking on his feet compared to AJ, who seems to struggle getting his thoughts out. This premise had a ton of potential, there were a bunch of cool things that could have been done or done better. Ultimately this seemed to fall short in multiple ways, although i would still like to learn more about that gun he was using throughout the movie as well as all the other tech they had. Hell i wouldn't mind seeing what it looked like back on the planet the ship came from in the first place, it sounded kinda like a Total Recall or Alita: Battle Angel sort of world where the rich "higher ups" literally look down on the "less fortunate" and seemingly develop language and new tech for themselves while leaving the poor behind in the dark. Also, for a movie that was supposed to be about surviving hostile dinosaurs there certainly weren't that many scenes depicting such things compared to what they could have done 🤷‍♂️

If I have gone to watch this in a theater I wouldn't have sayed until the end. Even in the comfort of my own home, after 2 attempts. I couldn't make it past the 30 minute mark. Nothing worked for me past the point where he initially considers off'ing himself when he thinks there are no survivors. After that the movie turns into some kind of abomination that reminded me of after school special movies. The movie goes from everything being bleak, Adam thinking it's the end. To him trying to wipe bug goo off his hand on a tree, and falls over when the bark rips of and stays stuck to his hand. I'm sorry but if you go from those two extremes in a matter of 10 minutes. You lost me. Also Alex says it best. the Sci-Fi elements of the show are all frontloaded in the first act, and when the second act begins. It's more about the developing relationship between the two characters. Which I feel is horribly boring and hamfisted.

Universal health care is also around 60% cheaper PER PERSON in countries like Canada, UK, Japan etc with universal health care than the US. You are literally paying more with your corporatized health care than I do as a Canadian in increased taxes. This has been long proven for decades now, but people like you keep buying the lies of your health insurance corporations that lie to you that it'd be more expensive to use universal healthcare - because of course they would lie, they're terrified of going out of business.
