I’ve always said that Diversity is the key 🔑 to having an Open Mind!! And that’s definitely going to factor in when it comes to dating outside your Race!! As we all know Korea is a homogeneous society and having said that theirs a lot Culture and Traditions that goes along into their society!! If a Korean guy wants to date outside his race most likely his Family will have to approve of that!! Because in Korea family is EVERYTHING!! So having your family Blessing is Extremely important!! As an American Black Women myself I travelled to Korea in 2019’ before the pandemic and much to my Surprise I found that I was quite admired by some locals!! barami1, it’s true is not easy probably, but it’s not imposible either. My nice is Spanish born in Argentina, and in Canada she married an Iranian, now my nephew. He is the loveliest person in the world and they get along very well, and live a happy life. If you make the effort you can do it. 😊

@@barami1 Well, in first place the moment that my nice’s husband and the whole family are here in Toronto since many years ago, that tells you that they don’t Iike the way things are done in Iran. Second, the whole family is a sweet wonderful people. My nephew Amir, is the most sweetest guy. The fact that they are Iranian people, doesn’t mean all Iranians are the same. We as humans need to stop, generalizing about other cultures. My grandfather was Lebanese, and kind of strict, my dad was the same, but my uncles weren’t like that, and all of them were sons from the same father. See? We can generalize because everybody is different. I have an Iranian friend and she told me that her family in Iran, had to go through things because, her father was a very sweet man and wouldn’t let his family live the kind of restricted life because of the government. Again, I am telling you no every culture or person is or does the same.

Yes because a majority of Koreans are racist that’s why as a country it’s 98% homogeneous, they don’t allow foreigners to become citizens as it would dilute their bloodlines. And it’s also why you have an aging population & a declining birth rate. Westerners make the mistake of thinking kdramas are real when in reality it’s a very patriarchal society, women are treated as second class citizens and you have to be subservient to anyone that’s older than yourself even if it’s just by a few days. And it’s frowned upon to step outside the rigid conformity of their society, don’t step outside the box. It also has a high suicide rate as well.
