I will say this again and again Alfred Molina is so Underrated and underappreciated he's not mentioned in this or other underrated lists. I saw him most recently in Promising Young Woman and it further cements how criminally underrated more than others in this list.

Toni Collette has always been a star to me. I can’t help but think some actors just choose not to do the “fame” thing. Like they don’t live in NY or LA and in between jobs they go out of their way to stay off the scene and just be known for their work. I think she’s one of those people.

I love that Bokeem Woodbine and Sanaa Lathan got shout outs on this list. They're both fantastic! They both deserve more recognition. What I love about Bokeem is that he'll go from acting in an Oscar-winning movie (Ray) to a bit part as a cop on a television show (Life In Pieces - season 1, episode 2).

I love this list, but who should have been on the list, or at the very least an honorable mention is Matthew Lillard. His range and versatility can put him near the top tier of actors, but he always seems to be one of those actors that is always the one no one really thinks about until you mention him, and the response is always like, "who!?" oh, yeah him from scooby doo!" lol.

I grew up with John Lithgow and Kevin Kline in the 80s, and followed John Leguizamo and John C. Reilly in the 90s and 2000s. In Hollywood they are legends. I wouldn't say any of those guys are underappreciated. They just graduated from "I'll do anything for a part" to "If it doesn't speak to me, I've got other things I could do" status.

I saw John Lithgow on Broadway with Glenn Close. They were both wonderful. John Leguizamo MADE "To Wong Foo, Love Julie Newmar". I really loved Kevin Kline in "The Big Chill". I would have loved seeing him play the starring role in "Privates Of Penzance" in Shakespeare in the park.

This is a great list. To add some of the great roles of some of these actors - John Lithgow on “Dexter” was epic. Judy Grier on “Arrested Development” was hilarious. John Leguizamo was incredible in “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmare.” Jennifer Coolidge was really good in “White Lotus.”

Muriel’s Wedding was my intro to Toni Colette. I remember being so excited by her in that role, and have enjoyed her performances many times over the years. She does a large number of projects, but her short piece in The Hours was so memorable as was Unbelievable. I had the pleasure of being on set with her for one scene in Nightmare Alley as an extra, She was only three rows away from me in the cinema scene.

Thomas Howell.* The guy has a career that dates back to the _early 1980s,_ longer than some names on this list put together…and yet pretty much nobody knows or remembers him. Dylan O’Brien and Andrew Garfield underrated? Sure….if this was 2014 or earlier. You seriously need to get up to date, because you missed quite a lot. LMAO Cillian Murphy too hasn’t been underrated for well over a decade.

I had the pleasure of meeting Howell at a Comic-Con a few years back, pretty nice guy. Howell’s career took a nosedive after he did a controversial movie (I think it involved him in blackface), but he’s doing pretty well still; he’s the primary voice actor for Reverse-Flash throughout DC animation.

Recently The New York Times made a list of The greatest actors of the 21st century so far, #25 on that list was Gael García Bernal, he is widely acclaimed but I feel not as much with American audiences. Personally I think the most under appreciated and underrated actors/actresses are Max Hardwood, James Paxton, Bill Paxton, Tyler Young, Nicholas Gailtzine, John Leguizamo, and Timothee Chalament, Madison Pettis, Kaitlyn Maher, Quvenzhane Walis, Wesley Snipes, and Victoria Justice. Especially the first five, these handsome and talented young men are just not talked about enough, but you know who else isn't also talked about enough? Underrated, unnoticed and talented smaller KZbin channels, Mrs. Mojo I think that you're next list should be on these under appreciated actors and actresses I just mentioned, a list of Disney's Treasure Planet and a list on underrated but talented KZbinrs, because I can think of many KZbinrs who DESERVE to be talked about more, like HardStopLucas, VerbalAce, Cartoon Connect, Tomas Sanders, ERB, CrazyGregFlims, TheDragonSuperFan, Scribbler Productions, TheLostNarrator, Chanel Willams, and of course my personal favorite who SHOULD BE number one.... I think Paul Giamatti is really underrated. He was amazing as John Adams in HBO's miniseries, he was great in Parkland, Saving Mr. Banks, Cinderella Man, etc. He's also been a guest star in many great shows like Downtown Abbey.

My favorites: James Rebhorn, James Cromwell, Richard Jenkins, John Hawkes, Matthew Goode and yes, Kevin Kline is one of the best. Some of these I don't think about b/c I am so familiar with them and their work, like Cillian Murphy.
