dont get me wrong all these cats are amazing but I wish selective breeding would stop
@companimalz2 жыл бұрын
I agree… some breeds are not meant to mix at all. There are health concerns that come with breeding.

There are so many unwanted cats in the world. The mixed breed cats, are wonderful pets.

I personally would not purchase a cat. Don’t shop, ADOPT ❤️ You can find breed specific rescues 🐾 Cool facts though!

I have a kittie who has been DNA tested Three times! Why you ask ? Because the first test came back that he was around 90 % Unknown DNA ?????? With some Russian Blue. Tried another. Came back a little Russian Blue. Mostly Chartreuse?????? Had to do one more because I caught him as a kitten from a feral colony living in my garage. Yes They are all TNRD. Took me a little while to catch all 13. So at first I had there kittens to catch socialize and find Forever homes. I was told you just don't find feral Chartreuse. It's hard enough to find a Chartreuse in it's country of origin France Let alone in my back yard. And Third test came back the same. Over 90% Chartreuse. A little Russian Blue. I contacted the first company I sent a sample to ask Why? Do you think his Chartreuse DNA didn't come up ? Was told they don't store Chartreuse DNA to match because they are so rare I only wish I would have done it sooner. LOL At one time I had a backyard and house full of these little gray puff balls Chartreuse kittens go for an average of about $600. Oh if I had only known. And one more thing He is without a doubt the Coolest cat that I've ever seen.

13 cats ?!?!? ☺️I would be delighted to take some from your back yard. Chartreuses are rare in some countries..

@@companimalz That was the feral colony count at it's biggest. Originally there was 6 all grey cat's that pumped out little gray kittens like crazy. As I caught and TNR'd them when I finally caught the gray male a beautiful Simese male took over making kittens till I caught him. Then a neighbor got a black male cat who they let out all the time and he had a few litter's. In the beginning all the kittens were gray And my Chartreuse is now 7 years old. So it was a while ago.
