18 is pretty good if you put her in the clothes that give her chain destructo disk, rolling hammer, and her passive ki recharge seems faster. Auto spark with 3 skill cost. Bardock is cracked too with an explosive wave that automatically goes into sparking and rolling hammer and quick attacks

The tech with both Brolys is save skill points to transform, use charge super, if quick enough can transform and perform another charge super, before they get out of recover animation. This is because each transformation gives a full bar of ki.

Actually, Cell is also really good. His first form only costs about 4 dp, and you wanna make sure you pick the first form. I don’t wanna get into it too much, tho, but the main selling point for why he’s so good, is because EVERY time he transforms, he immediately gets max ki

I love that DP encourages people to play base characters. One thing I really felt missing in Fighterz was being able to manage ki, power-up and transform over the course of the fight. To me that's a big part of what makes a DBZ game feel distinctly like a DBZ game. I'm so glad that playing base players and powering up over the fight, getting more and more intense throughout the fight, is actually a legit way to play. Also I'm sad Videl didn't make the list, she's cracked! 2 ki bar charge super let's you give the boot after every combo, it's hilariously annoying lol

Been experimenting with different teams of 5 in DP mode and she’s definitely a sleeper pick. Having the option between afterimage strike and full charge is insanely good for such a low DP cost, not to mention she has a decent health pool and solid rush attacks that are really easy to link into her supers

Bardock is hella underrated I've erased entire teams with only him. His buff skill makes him do more damage and makes his smash attacks faster and his second skill pushes enemies back and instantly activates sparking mode yeah it costs 4 points but as long as you play carefully you are good. Plus his only costs 4 dp!

I play against Yajirobe, and the trick to dealing with him is staying on his ass! Do not let him breathe. Even if he puts the bean in his mouth, it can be interrupted as long as he doesn't glow white. When he's low on health, he will get defensive - using perception or revenge counters - to knock you back. Perception has a distinctive stance that anyone can spot, especially when you see the enemy suddenly pause and hold still. That is your moment to grab them.

Turles has some really dope looking moves but I’m struggling to make him effective. Tree of might is a decent buff but it’s a little lacking compared to other skills, and his supers besides his ultimate feel a little weak. Raditz on the other hand makes for a great glass cannon pick in the 3 DP range, his speed and damage are pretty decent

Also pretty cool video having discourse like this is just fun. Didnt know about a lot of unblockables you really sold me on some picks and I realized that broly is more broke than I first thought. It's crazy sometimes the difference between 3dp and 2dp characters. most 2 dp are trash but its interesting and fun to compare for their potential. Like spopovich in hp is right between super baby 2 and goku black, the highest hp 2dp. His Servants Latent Power costs 1 and gives him +3 strenght, +3 ki blasts, better ki charging and 1 defense. And his Berserk Clash is an unblockable rush. Yajirobe, chiaotzu and guldo have great mid tier ki charging. Kid gohan I thought was 2dp, I think kid gohan and goku kid shouldve been 2dp but theyre either both great if you dont mind the hp or both trash, tho i would argue gohan is better from afterimage strike, instant sparking and +3 buffs also both of them have basically the same stats. Kid goku has a great chasing kamehameha tho it charges slowly. And kid gohan has a great energy blash barrage that comes out instantly. Also krillin and Yamcha have better combos but it's really about preference and its pretty cool to strategize even if losing a lot using 2dp. Spopovich has 4 health bars, and gohan kid still has 3 bars like all the other but his hp is lower. yeah, great video keep it up!

Definitely some good picks there that players are sleeping on =) I am very surprised you didn't mention: 1. Bardock. Only 4 DP points, average health, good damage+moveset and a super strong 4 SP skill that's instant sparking and Explosive Wave built into one 2. Tien. Also only 4 DP points, great movelist and destroys health bars in sparking (heck even without his blast damage is quite good) 3. 1st Form Cell. 5 DP points, can go all the way up to Cell Form Perfect and in this form/2nd can drain health and ki with the advantages of still being able to charge up. Pretty much the only weakness as such is low starting Ki but that's about it. Have great success running these three+ Master Roshi in DP battles, lots of fun.

Tien is so much fun to use, Dodon ray absolutely snipes people and it’s super easy to use as a finisher. Only issue I have with him is that it’s pretty difficult to get sparking mode with him, but sacrificing a health lead to delete a character with neo tribeam more than makes up for the effort

Kefla is S Tier, rush attack and fast combos in SSJ. In SSJ2 has an instant sparking, with Buffs. Because she is fused character starts with 4 bars of health at 6DP. SSJ2 ultimate attack is an explosive wave, then changes to Beam and hard to time. Better for aggressive players, who look to build up skills points to get into sparking and cook.

other characters I realized are insane on paper it hurts to play him but spopovich is crazy. Not only is he bulky, but he also has a 1 cost skill that buffs him like crazy, and an extra defendense one too. He has great damage, defense and skills, and all that for 2 dp. Also kid gohan I thought was trash but no. His main issue is he has the lowest health in the game, but for i think 3 dp he has insane skills, instant sparking + buffs, afterimage strike and pretty good damage overall. I think at this point everyone knows how broken dr.wheelo is, mainly from him being a giant and also 4dp, insane damage and tankiness, tho it kinda sucks to play giants or against them. A few thoughts, videl has slow combos but she has afterimage strike and a decent buff to attacks and ki blasts and decently good damage for 2dp. Also don't sleep on Goku End but specially his ssj1 and ssj2. As much as I love ssj3, ssj1 has Instant transmission kamehameha ult. And ssj2 has instant transmission kamehameha super. So for example, you can use ssj2 supers for a while and then use Full Power with ssj2 to go sparking, and right when sparking mode is about to end, you change to ssj1 and use its super if you want the teleport.

Garlic JR is lowkry cracked. His Maya Star is a 15% heal. Double def and attack and ki recharge. And a instant fulll ki bar. He has high health too. 4.5 hp bars. And he'd fast.

I’ve been getting a lot of wins using Super Garlic Jr, for 4 DP he’s a solid tank that has good damage with his Makyo Star buff and his surprisingly powerful super attacks, with one being an unblockable grab. I like using him as a middle pick since he can sweep teams pretty decently and can stay alive for a long time. As for Yajirobe the best strat against him is to play hyper aggressively when he has 5 skill points. Sense bean has a long activation time so you can interrupt it with a grab or power smash if he uses it up close. Conserve your ki while you keep up pressure so if he knocks you away you can dash back to him before he’s able to heal himself. In DP battle against him, prioritize swapping teammates out before they die to prevent the opportunity for him to time out the match

For Master Roshi it's better to start off in his buff form first. It cost the same as his base form, but you get a third bar of health. And then when you go back to 2 bars of health you can power down back to base Roshi.

Pro Tip: You should start with buff Roshi. He has three bsrs of health instead of two. If you transform down, you instantly go to two bars regardless of remaining health. Transforming into max power state grants no health. So to effectively use Roshi start off in max power state, this form is the same DP as his small state, fight until youre at two bars of health, dispel hks transformation and make better use of smaller Roshi's kit.

One thing you missed with Krillin is solar flare, which normally is good but not amazing, but since his ultimate has good tracking and is unblockable he can definitely keep you in a pain loop where he's solar flaring you, comboing you, then whether or not you find him again doesn't even matter because he hits you with destructo disk and you lose him, only to find him and get solar flared AGAIN. I love Krillin

I think Videl is underrated she has flying kicks, rolling hammer, the gut punch, and for 2 bars of ki she can use her Videl kick that does insane dmg and can do some pretty nasty setups and she has afterimage on top of that. There's way better characters but she can do work.
