One of the best snooker highlight videos I’ve seen, shows the follow up shots, way good!

Now the current UK champion. Stephen Maguire attempted to do a Mark Williams from the 2018 World Snooker Championship but Ding reproduced his 2016 and 2017 World Championship form. In the latter, he got to the semi finals, beaten by the player that pipped him to the 2016 title, Mark Selby. One of Ding's shots was reminiscent of the one Ronnie did in the 2018 World Grand Prix or the Players Championship.

Great video!! Great to see the old firm back playing classy consistent snooker! Nigel Bond, Matthew Stevens.. Snooker is a great sport for that.. And great to see Ding do one over on Ronnie and go on to win a title after a gap! "Out the other side" of having a new baby..

'Rolling back the years' is a phrase to sum up the recent tournament. It took Ding Junhui ten years to add a third UK Championship. First won it in 2005.

@バカロン5 жыл бұрын
@Jon Roberts, how is that relevant to this shot? the shot itself was so good no matter who played it. also tell me how often do you see such plants along the cushion with good distance between the balls. if it's played by Ronnie it doesn't mean the shot should be lower in position than others. the last one I remember was played by Ding many months ago. I think it was in some match against Ronnie in the last season. if you know more then sure show me but that he was playing attacking game all the time and also missed the next red are good enough arguments yet people like you go "ninini roni fan xdxd"

Matthew Stevens great player, should have completed the triple crown in 2005 had he won the world championship that year .

It was a tournament full of surprises, most notably Judd Trump, the reigning world champion's defeat at the hands of Nigel Bond, a one time runner up at the Crucible. The latter certainly had a whale of a time at the Barbican. It ended up with two former winners and I would guess, it never disappoint.

Why did Ding's brown to red in the last frame of final not make the cut? It was surely an unbelievable shot in my view. Is it because this shot was after Ding sealed the match and therefore wasn't as significant?

Those moving texts are annoying to read. Imagine if subtitles were like that in movies.
@CesarMuroya5 жыл бұрын
It would certainly be annoying, but I thought it would be fine here if they are sporadic. Fixed subtitles require two lines of text and I don't want them on the table. I will test if they are better in the final part of the videos.

@@CesarMuroya You can split up the sentence so it's only one line at a time, like with subtitles
@CesarMuroya5 жыл бұрын
@@cruz1ale It does not work well. That's why directors have no choice but to use two lines.

@@CesarMuroya What do you mean it doesn't work? Moving text already doesn't work because it's nigh unreadable. If you can make it readable, any price is worth it. If it's not readable, what's the point of having text in there in the first place
