8:30 Saint-14 actually has a POPPING Reed's for sale this week on rank 16 after your 1st reset. Enhanced battery, triple tap, firing line with veist stinger. If there's a weekend to play trials, it's this one. I never play trials and suffered through 130 matches this weekend for this thing. With the rep and loot changes you can expect a lot of good rolls grinding to that rank too. I got a rapid hit desperado messenger, a 5/5 shayura's and a heating up rampage summoner on my way to that reed's.

I still haven't finished the cat for Lumina, but I've been working on it. It did get a range buff and one other buff I can't recall at the moment. It sounds "soft" to me, not like Sunshot but it works pretty well. When solar 2.0 drops I think Sunshot is going to constantly be in my loadout!

I love Reckless Endangerment for pve. It's good in pvp, gets the job done but for me. I use Reckless, Insidious and Gjallarhorn in both pve and pvp and couldn't be happier

Cataclysmic God roll has almost 50% more total damage than Reeds, but slightly lower DPS. It can deal over 3 million+ damage while Reeds and other Linears deal a little over 2 million. You are trading some DPS for massively increased ammo efficiency

Regarding your question about the Likely Suspect @ 14:10, I think it's one of those "out of band" weapons that Bungie talked about back when they adjusted some hand cannons and the IKELOS submachinegun right a while back. I feel that just like Tap The Trigger, this will get Firmly Planted on Fusion Rifles adjusted as well. If people want to avoid that, I'd recommend Heating Up over Firmly Planted as sort of "stopgap."

Another roll that I’ve been absolutely loving on Cantata is Rapid Hit(Or Steady Hands) + Timed Payload. Really nice to have the extra damage for PvP, Rapid hit specifically helps to proc Suros Synergy, and Steady Hands gives a great buff to handling in addition to Suros Synergy.

Snorri also has a monster of a PvE roll in Compulsive Reloader/Reservoir Burst. Combined with the Omolon Origin Perk, the reload speed after firing your Reservoir Burst round is frankly insane.

@@TheFirstCurse1 it’s not underestimating, they just don’t stack up well versus other available options. The only one that really has its place for the most part from last wish is Tyranny of Heaven and that’s because it’s the only non-sunset solar legendary bow available right now, everything else is either a bad archetype or is outclassed by others that don’t requiring farming an old raid to obtain. GoS has some good options like it’s bow, hc, and pulse but the main issue is finding raid teams to run it.

On Cataclysmic you are actually getting wayyy more than half you're shots buffed by focused fury cuz the half mag precision requirement is only based on the base magazine size of the weapon. Pretty awesome

Hammerforged and Accurized only pushes the damage falloff of Striga by a little less than 2 meters. I opted for Fluted Barrel and Flared Magwell with Short-Action Stock to get the handling and reload as high as possible. It still has 82 range and now it feels VERY snappy. Extended Mag is the absolute worst choice, hands down.

Honestly with insidious I actually love firefly for PVe, it’s unbelievably clutched especially if you go all in on it with crafted and firefly spec, it feels like I turned ace of spades into an arc pulse.

Deliverance is the best fusion rifle I used ever. I'm convinced that precision fusions do not require "firmly planted", they already have good accuracy and stability, so I prefer to boost handling instead with perpetual motion. Warm-up is going to be nerfed, it's bonkers, it's busted, it's vaporizing everything being activated once. And it"s kinetic, that allows me to use some omega-cool energy primaries at last. I haven't used them since first year of destiny because I was bound to energy fusions. But I have never stopped maining them. And I've shot from every god damn fusion ever existed. And now I have found my perfect creation...

I have a Perpetual Motion/Moving Target roll on a Piece of Mind and lemme tell you, this thing slaps, especially more if you love to run and gun (like I do). Let's put it this way, I prefer, and do better, running and gunning with this than I do my godliest god-roll Battle Rifle. I have issues with Likely Suspect like I do all rapid fires. Very inconsistent. I hit someone with a full burst from fairly close and it barely strips their shields. Other times, I feel like I miss half the burst and get the kill. My go to so far has been my God Roll Funnelweb in PvE and my Insidious. Love both.

Note for Cataclysmic DO NOT run focused fury since high impact reserves enhanced is much better as damage starts at 75% of the mag instead of 50% so for cataclysmic damage starts if you have 6 in the mag after the first shot

@@snipey8623, if you are talking about 1 mag yes, but what kind of raid boss has only 6 seconds of a damage window? i literally dump all my mags even on atheon, the dps across multiple mags is not even close, and 75% of 6 is not 5, its 4.5 high impact in the second mag goes: 0% - 12.5% - 12.5% - 25% - 12.5% - 25% - 25% - 25% - 25% - 25% focused fury in the second mag goes 20% - 20% - 20% - 20% - 20%- 20% -20% - 20% -20% - 20% both % add up to respectfully: 187.5% and 200% and if you are correct, here are the numbers: by the third mag focused fury beats high impact, therefore is better because there is no fucking way you lay off less than 3 mags on a raid boss with a 533 charge time focused fury wins because it does more damage and you don't need to spend 2000 null elements on it

On likely suspect you should spec into range completely if you use firmly planted because crouching will make your bolt pattern perfectly vertical despite the recoil direction stat. Firmly planted completely replaces the need for any extra stability. You can grab some absurdly long range kills with that rapid fire.

I’ve come back to Destiny 2 for the witch queen DLC as I just got a PS5 and a decent gaming set up. As a veteran D1 player and someone that played D2 when it first came out I thought getting back into the game would be easy. I’ve had some help from friends and have finally got my head around all of the new terminology and features that have occurred over years of updates. I do however find myself struggling to get any decent weapons - especially in regards to PVP. I’m hoping someone can give me tips in regards to what I should grind in order to get decent weapons and armour to drop? When you mentioned Snorri for PVP, I gotta say it has some insane PVE Rolls too! I have a REALLY nice roll on mine, I'm picky about my Fusion Rifle Perks, like I rarely take advantage of Firmly Planted so tend to go for other Consistency Perks but my Snorri, god damn! Hammer-Forged or Smallbore, Accelerated Coils or Liquid Coils, Compulsive Reloader, Resoviour Burst & a Stability MW! It can do a whole bunch of damage to higher health targets & absolutely wreck trash mobs with Resoviour Burst! Definitely one to look out for & Compulsive Reloader just makes abusing Burst even easier!

There's some GREAT Weapons available, whilst it definitely bugs me I cant craft a Hand Cannon, I respect that Bungie didn't offer one immediately. It's absolutely given other weapons a chance to shine when they might have been ignored otherwise. I am hoping Bungie puts a 120rpm in first, especially as Hakke Weapons are craftable! I think there's definitely some scope to craft a pretty epic 120rpm Hakke HC with Breach Armaments too!? Yes please!

With Likely Suspect, you want range, not stability. So long as you have firmly planted and crouch/slide when firing, you’ll never notice that you didn’t spect into stability. Full bore, projection fuse, plus firmly planted and successful warm-up is the play. I’m on console too. It’s unbelievable. And with Piece of Mind, you don’t need arrowhead brake. Trust me. I’m a 540 main (6000+ kills with Time-Worn). It’s a wasted perk so long as you have perpetual motion and elemental capacitor (while running void). The stability is nutty and you won’t feel not having arrowhead. I had it on, and to me, it didn’t feel as good as chambered compensator. Just have to run a counter balance mod and you’re set.

False, you only gain 1.39m of range by fully speccing into range with range mw, full bore, and projection fuse. With arrowhead you get recoil to 80 (up from 50), with particle repeater and range masterwork, you are only 1m less than a fully range spec with way better stats and consistency

Also, you are wrong about arrowhead as well. Arrowhead has nothing to do with stability and high stability doesn’t entirely negate recoil. Plus arrowhead allows it to be used on any subclass rather than locking yourself to void for super high stability. @@TheMarine0333 How are you going to sit here tell me I'm wrong, considering I'm a rapid-fire pulse/fusion crucible main? Especially with your poultry 1.24 KD and 1.75 efficiency? I have a 2.41 KD, 3.1 efficiency lifetime with nearly 80,000 crucible kills. Last season I accumulated 6,000 kills with Time-Worn and 1300 with Null Composure. I know what I'm talking about. Firstly, with Likely Suspect, firmly planted, and especially the enhanced version, negates any disadvantage from not specing into stability. Don't believe me? Go try it yourself. Just have to pull down slightly on the stick (or mouse if you're on steam) and you'll be mapping people. Will having arrowhead help that recoil paired with a counter balance? Sure. But the difference is minimal. Even with the 50 recoil direction, because of firmly planted, you don't even need to run a counterbalance mod. I've had both versions of Likely Suspect (meaning one speced into stability and the other range) the range is far far far better. It helps with damage falloff, but more important, target acquisition and cone angle.. i.e. it makes the gun more sticky and more likely to connect the bolts. Secondly, with Piece of Mind, you clearly are not a 540 main. When I set about crafting this gun, my goal was to craft a weapon that could replace/compete with my god-rolled Time-Worn (red dot micro, high-cal, moving target and iron grip. gives it 49 range, 81 stability, run a counterbalance mod and you get a perfectly vertical recoil at 75). I have nearly 12,000 crucible pulse rifle kills and half of those are from my god-rolled Time-Worn. The whole point of running arrowhead is for that +30 recoil direction and making the recoil as vertical as possible. I'm telling you it's a wasted perk on this pulse. Chambered compensator gives you +9 stability, -4 handling and most importantly +10 recoil. Takes that default 58 and turns it into 68. Run a counter balanced mod with that and you got an 83 recoil direction, which is nearly vertical. The difference is minimal and you will not notice it when you're running high stability. Since I'm a nightstalker main from year 1 in Destiny 2, I always run void and always have. This is why elemental is the play for me. That +18 in stability makes the gun super sticky and stable. (I believe the enhanced version gives you +23 stability while running void). If you haven't tried a rapid fire pulse with outstanding stability, you have no idea what you're talking about. It makes the weapon a dueling master, especially with high-cal. It's why I've been maining Time-Worn for over a year now. The high stability essentially assure you're going to always be hitting your ideal TTK for the rapid-fire pulses. It does not miss. So my Piece of Mind has these stats running these perks (Chambered Compensator, High-Cal, Perpetual Motion, Elemental Capacitor with stability frame): +42 range +92 stability (and it'll go to 97 with one stack of perpetual motion, 100+ with two) +30 handling +39 reload +82 aim assistance (I always run two targeting mods to give me plus 22.5 (diminishing returns for the second mod) to give me 100 aim assist) 83 recoil direction (with the stability being this high, you will not notice it isn't perfectly vertical). Keep in mind I'm a console player too, and a Dragon's Shadow main. So the low handling/reload speed doesn't effect me (which is how I got around the abysmal reload speed on Time-Worn with iron grip). So please, keep telling me I don't know what I'm talking about.

Yeah I’ve gotten like 20 crisis inverted and maybe 2 of them had a range MW but with horrible perks

I've got a crafted deliverance. Enhanced demo with chill clip is awesome in PvE. Edit: I have the trait combo you want on Snori as well lol. It's pretty good.

Any gun that can roll adaptive munitions and turnabout is great for pve.
