I think point and clicks in the 80s and 90s we're the most numerous genre
@asterlofts15652 жыл бұрын
I think that this was obvious from a technological point of view for both times, because it was technically almost impossible to make an excellent game with good graphics, with good interaction and playability... that was also possible to do it (create it) in one of those systems (whether consoles or computers) that were available at that time and that, in turn, was accessible/cheap for everyone to be able to play it or that everyone had a powerful system to be able to enjoy it, but they were still super entertaining... you used more the brain and imagination than just point and shoot or just useless interactions for the sake of it. I think that started to change between 1995 and 1999.

The DOS SF2 port was probably the best example of a game looking great in screenshots on a box while playing like garbage. Severely disappointing port.

@@yellowblanka6058 The PC CDROM Version of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo was a really good port. Had a studio quality soundtrack and the controls were super responsive. I got the 25th anniversary edition Street Fighter from Steam and plays soooo stiff. It's like instead of using the old CDROM port, they used like a Super Nintendo port that sounds and plays like utter crap.
@yellowblanka60582 жыл бұрын
@@blazemegatron919 Yes, I know, the two ports were handled by different companies at different times and I owned both. The Turbo port was near arcade perfect. Not sure what you’re talking about with the sf anniversary collection on steam, I own it and it’s emulating the arcade originals, and as far as I can tell there are no issues with the emulation so it sounds like a configuration issue on your end or something if the input seems unresponsive.

I just cant find a MS-DOS game in semi-pixelated 2D where you star as a woman in a red suit and uses a rifle as a weapon who fights demons and the beginning begins in a crypt/cemetery where some flying creatures come out of the tombs and you shoot them down with your weapon, as you advance you reach a cathedral/church where there is a gear full of blood because there is a person stuck and destroyed in it, and on the other side of a door there is a demon waiting. The game interface has a bar at the bottom of the screen with a red bottle representing health, as well as the face of our protagonist who, as she receives damage, changes her appearance where she is seen bleeding from her head and nose. the damage received. It was for Pc and u need a disc to play it, if u know something let me know, i´ll pay a reward.
