As a mostly metal guy I found it funny that my other favourites were represented here. Eminem, Linkin Park, RHCP, Rihanna and Lady Gaga had plenty of songs here. I was surprised to see Blink 182 which I loved in the 90's as their songs during the 2000 era weren't that great. Biggest surprise was that Britney didn't have that many songs here.

Not gonna lie, I’m shocked at how many rock songs are among the biggest streaming era songs from the 2000’s. Especially with quite a few that never even made the top 40. I like how streaming numbers could serve as a correction for some of the songs Billboard whiffed upon the first time around.

Yellow is not my favourite coldplay song, so thats surprising. Would have thought viva la vida would be more popular

Early access to 'Top 200 Most Streamed Songs Of The 1990s' on my Patreon now! - www.patreon.com/MediaRanker Unfortunately I lost monetization on the channel on 16th July 2024 and my appeal was rejected on 25th July 2024. I thoroughly enjoy creating this content and the engagement it creates with the viewers and I hope to pursue doing it full time, any contribution towards helping me do that would be greatly appreciated! Here is my Patreon account: / mediaranker , it is £4.50 a month and includes all these perks: • Early access to ALL Media Ranker videos! • Patreon exclusive videos • New videos every week! As well as: • Types of videos chosen by YOU - all genres, years, decades, eras etc. • Contents & ranking order of videos voted for by YOU...then I make the video! ...For example you can school me on the TRUE Top 100 (or 200) Synth Pop Songs! lol • Maybe live streams and other types of content you want to see too! Let’s create a great community there! Alternatively here is my BuyMeACoffee page for any individual donations or £1.50 membership: buymeacoffee.com/mediaranker THANK YOU!

Where’s Bring Me To Life by Evanescence? I’m sure it’s over a billion streams and was released in 2003

I think 3 Days Grace are Canadian not American, and you didn't put up Lil Waynes guest verse on Jay Sean's "Down".

Yeah my bad on those ive added that to my pinned comment now to reference those mistakes. Really annoying with Evanescence cause i saw it then for some reason didnt write it down straight away then obviously moved passed it. Love that song too
