3:19 people who remember Sheryl know how she wasn't keeping her note on the Bad world Tour. Grammys are weird

As far as I know song of the year is the award for the lyrics and record of the year is the award for the actual song as you hear it and then there’s album of the year and this is what the Grammys web page says about the award “Award to Artist(s) and to Featured Artist(s), Songwriter(s) of new material, Producer(s), Recording Engineer(s), Mixer(s) and Mastering Engineer(s) credited with 20% or more playing time of the album.”

Song of the year is for the writer of the song; record of the year is for the artist and producer .

Interesting that no traditional hip hop recordings. Im surprised with how many of the pre-1970 songs I've heard.

Keep in mind that the Grammys are voted upon by recording artists, not laymen like us. I would like to see NARAS, the organization that runs the Grammys, put in people's awards for the music industry. Oh yeah. They were the same organization that allowed Jethro Tull to win the inaugural hard rock/heavy metal award as a makeup award for them.

The Grammys are for the previous year, and some songs were released in the late previous, previous year. Also, this was/is largely an American academy.

Actually the 60s is very debatable cause those Jazz and Bossa Nova albums are magnificent. 70s are alright and after the 80s the list keeps getting worse until Daft Punk won their grammy surprisingly.
