I wouldn’t say “overrated” but I would definitely say becoming more popular instead. Popularity = Car prices going higher. There really isn’t anything much to “overly-rate” the Miata besides its some tuning possibilities. It’s not the fastest car, nor the most comfortable. The handling is not great either as in its stock form.

Any japanese car meet i go to, at least 1/3 of the cars there are mx5. Because they are cheap, the market for parts is big, and thats all because alot where made. Also they are reliable and i can litterly go outside and see a hundred parked and driving.

Depends on the year yes the Ranger can come with the 4.0 cologne V6, but it can also come with the 3.0 Duratec V6 a 2.8 L V6 2.3 4 cylinder or a 5 L V8 and I think they got rid of the 2.8 in 1985

Top pick is Acura TL. Called it! I expect you could find a decent Toyota Solara under 4k too, but it would have to be the base model coupe or a really leaky convertible. All the cars under 4k will have lots of problems. As far as I know, given it retailed for 30k and is a Toyota, the SLE V6 2nd gen convertible is probably worth between 6k with more than 150,000 mi to 10k with less than 75,000 miles, or am I overestimating it's value?

correction about the honda accord (trust me I have one) the videos shows were the standard honda accord (big sedan) but the information was the honda accord euro (acura TSX, smaller sedan, the one I have), they're both 7th gen which is probably why you got confused

Stand up? Good idea! Mark, you have converted me to liking a couple BMWs over a year and a half, and I hope you take pride in this, as I used to be prejudice against all of them. I now realize there are much worse cars on the road, like Audis, Land Rovers, Mazaraties, Mercedes, Fiats, Minis, and Jaguars. It may take a couple more years of conversion for me to like these, but I don't think it will work because aside from the Land Rovers these things look kinda lame or even ugly unless they're, like, fully built.
