Excellent video BUT too many extracts when it's raining and we can't really see anything. I understand it's super realistic on some games but in this case, show both. Basically, the video could be longer to show more tracks, cars, crash...

@@RacingXTV Don't get me wrong, you did a great job. I also watched a few other videos you made and decided to follow your channel. I just felt that at times you went a little fast, as if you didn't want to make a video too long when I wanted to see MOOOOOORE of them :) I'm an ex-fan of PC racing games with a steering wheel, but 14 years ago I decided to move abroad and sold my computer. Since then, I've had neither the time nor a machine powerful enough to play. I wasn't keeping up with video games and KZbin suggested your video. I was blown away by the progress made in terms of realism. Especially Assetto Corsa, which alone made me want to play again. All the best.

Why don't you ever credit any of the channels you rip footage from? Fucking hell. I'm also 99.99% certain this channel, or at least its content, is AI generated, because this list makes no sense, nor do the others. Almost all of the games in this appear in other videos too. You have rFactor 2 at second to last, iRacing in the middle, and hilariously, BeamNG.drive at #2. Beam isn't even a racing game. I love Beam, I have over 600hrs in it, but it's not a racing game. rFactor and iRacing are some of the most well respected and successful sim racing games of all time, so it's incredibly odd that one of them is placed 2nd to last, only beating Live for Speed, with GRID Legends is ranked in between them... GRID Legends isn't a racing sim, not even close, it's an arcade racer. And then you've got Forza Motorsport at #4, one of the worst AAA simcade racing releases of all time, beating out Assetto Corsa Competizione (a fan favorite, arguably one of the best, most accurate, and most faithful racing sims of all time, with one of the strongest cult followings) in a landslide? I'm so confused. On what basis? None of your reasons are explained in this video, it's all just adjective vomit, again, seemingly AI generated. I'm also puzzled by the massive mix of genres in this 1 list. We've got cars, bikes, and trucks on multiple different surfaces, all in the same list. Again, I just think this list was AI generated based off of games that have been tagged with "racing" and "simulator." How can you say BeamNG.drive is better than Dakar or iRacing? What is there to even compare that would lead you to a meaningful ranking of these games? It's like comparing Call of Duty to Fallout New Vegas and Cabela's Dangerous Hunts, or steak to ice cream.

@@chrisbostock7446 those are not real racing simulators. Actual racing sims are way more rewarding once yoi get good enough to have proper races in them. I speak from experience.

AC is a great game, and if i could only have 2 racing games, id go with AC and EA WRC. ACC is probably better for GT cars, but AC has a bit more forgiving handling, which allows me to drive a bit more agressive, and it also offers many other types of cars, like classic cars and F1. Rally games are by far my favorites though. The narrow roads give much better feeling of speed, and the relatively slow speed means that i have much better grip, so i can drive much more aggressively. EA WRC is my favorite, and at least SOME aspects of the handling model seem more realistic than both WRC 10 and Dirt Rally 2.0. WRC 10 is my second favorite, but Dirt Rally 2.0 has a great car selection - including some really cool classic cars, like Opel Manta and Kadett (both are DLCs) - which i think makes it a very nice addition to EA WRC and/or WRC 10 😁 Im not sure why rally games are so demanding compared to titles like AC and ACC. I get 240Hz after just some "minor" tweaks to graphics in ACC, but in EA WRC i had to make some "hard decisions". I got a 4080 Super, and at 1440p i only get 160-200fps after putting various resource hungry settings (like car reflections and shadows) to minimum, and lowering most other settings to high or medium. Still looks better than both Dirt Rally 2.0 and WRC 10 though, so its not that bad tbh 🥲

Regarding why rally games are more demanding, I think it's because the environment in rally games are more complex compared with environment in circuit racing games. Think about it, the game must render woods, forests, trees, and other natural landscapes in rally games compared with walls and a bit of grass in games like AC or ACC. This is an uneducated guess though, so take it with a grain of salt.
