Great list! I do hope we get to see a Brook City playthrough of one of the expansion cases from you! For me, my top game this year has been Nemesis by far. It’s my number one game over all.

@@RollingSolo I had hoped to have had Unbroken in my hands a long time ago as well but alas, 'tis not meant to be. Maybe this time next year it will be here. I wasn't completely sold on Tainted Grail, though I loved the art work and theme. Looks like I missed out on that one but instead have gone in on Oathsworn, so I'll be excited to see how that stacks up to next year's releases. Which one do you like best of the two so far?

A guy on Etsy makes dashboards for Nemesis (colored to match each character) . Still waiting on mine but he just updated that the response is overwhelming and he's like a month out. I had no idea until then that Nemesis had such a huge following. My favorite solo is LotR LCG, I own all of it now (except 3 of the mirkwood packs) and it only took selling a kidney.

Individuals on Etsy sure get busy with their great ideas on organizing and blinging our games. Seems like the popular ones consistently have a good window of turn around before being flooded by word of mouth or social media. Might need to check those out in the future. LOTR LCG is one I still buy each pack for since it was released. Great one! One of two games that got me hooked on solo gaming.

Didn't realize there was a poll, lots of games on this list that I would have voted for too. Only one missing is DC Rebirth which is a great Deckbuilder. Looking forward to Hexplore It and Tainted Grail next year, already have Hellboy and AE New Age but haven't played it yet.

My favorites might differ a bit from the ones listed here, but it's in part sue to my not having access to a number of these games. ;) They will serve as a good reminder when needed. 18:24 - Unbroken is ONLY SOLO by design. Artem plans expansion for co-op. The game is very good (for what it is - light and solo). I would call it mainly a "resource management" game, but it's so well designed as an exploration adventure with combat. The Score is low because people are downvoting frustrated by the logistic/delivery problems of the failed publisher. Or in other words people who doesn't play the game (due to delivery problems) are "scoring" the game. Sad. The game itself (and its author Artem Safarov) deserve very high score. Anyway great top25 video. I will buy "Set a Watch" because of it. Thanks.

Rolling Solo, I’m still waiting for mine too (will forward using a freight forwarding service from US to Egypt). Just waiting for other stuff to forward everything together. I remember that they made a huge fuss about the solo mode when they introduced it less than 48 hours before the end of the campaign when they reached the 1M USD milestone. The funny thing is that one day earlier in a live Q&A they were saying “No, it’ll be really hard to do that”, pulling the legs of all backers 😁

As good as Black List games are, it's unlikely I will ever support them again. I'm missing something from every game I've got for them and their awful customer service hasn't managed to get me any replacements in months. I'd strongly advise against supporting them.

At the risk of hate here I have Tainted Grail and it’s brilliant as a solo - but it’s been trumped by Xia with solo rules ...but I guess the sci-fi theme is stronger for me than fantasy - I am all in with the KS for Tainted Grail and think it’s an awesome game ...but there are some warts I find particularly annoying but not game breaking ...where as I don’t have as many warts with Xia + solo expansion ...

@@RollingSolo I should've loved it. Got both base and Embers Expansion and just didn't click:) You're right many people adore it. It is beautiful. I was disappointed when Serious Pulp announced that sequel to 7th Continent will be dark fantasy based. There are so many good games with this theme already. We're lacking a great space exploration/survival game imo.... all the best...

Ah I gotcha. A great space survival game is Nemesis. However if you’re looking space travel those options are limited. Doors open for someone to design one though!

Hello! Well apparently as this list is not mine but solo gamers in general, the people have spoken that it’s not hype. Can’t argue with numbers. I haven’t played it but now I’m more intrigued than I was. :)

@@RollingSolo Your list is very diverse and I understood as you said many were not yet played, what your position was. I am simply refering to many other solo reviewers, none of which I found said Wingspan was what they wanted solo. Many said how they loved it multiplayer and wanted more content. However, the ones with more massive experience (not because of being experts), simply stated they would rrach for something else just about every time if it was solo gaming time. It can also be the love of newer Solo gamers. It is often how Tiny Epic games end ul higher on these lists as well. Just less experiences.

Hey, ya a handful I hadn’t played before because the theme or something else didn’t draw me to it to try it. In terms of this list as it’s a poll of solo gamers in general, it’s a pretty solid idea of the popular choices based on voting. Might not have been for you, but it seems it was for many others. I need to try it myself as the theme didn’t interest me at all but I’m guessing the gameplay is what’s strong in this one.
