One of my favorite things to do is skip jigs under boat docks and walkways. 1/2 oz jig is what I usually use too Edwin. Hard to beat the old 10” power worm in the summertime. Hope you are enjoying your new grand baby! Can’t wait to see your ponds when they are finished. Enjoying watching those ponds under construction too.

In 1956 my father built a half acre pond at our property in Ohio. It should like your lake is going to be the same as ours on a larger scale. It was great growing up with that pond. Good luck and good fishing.

Skipping Jigs in the summer is absolutely my favorite thing to do during the summer months here in Texas! Don’t sleep on throwing a 10 inch worm around Docks as well!
