Fierljeppen, a traditional Frisian sport originating from the Netherlands, combines elements of pole vaulting, long jumping, and agility. Athletes sprint towards a long pole and use it to propel themselves across the water. They climb the long pole until the top, atleast they try. The objective is to clear the widest distance possible before safely landing on the opposite bank. Fierljeppen demands immense strength, precision, and balance, making it a thrilling spectacle of athleticism and skill.
