Hi RcSaylors, my reccommendation is not a mini crawler, but a very fast RC car. You may already have it, but I am talking about the Tamiya Novafox. I had one of these as a kid, and they are super-fast, super-fun and have suspension. However, it does need to be built before you can drive it.

Hello RC Saylors. I got my family interested in Traxxas Vehicles thanks to my interest in RC. When it's too windy to fly now, I can still have fun. Got the TRX-4M Defender just before Christmas. I now have the 1/10 scale Bronco XLT, the Bandit( replaced the motor to brushless) and got a killer deal on a Slash Ultimate. I purchased the 1/16 Slash for my Grandson for Christmas. My Daughter and Son in Law are now into the hobby because of me. Life is more fun when you can play as a family.

My TRX4M outperforms my SCX24. They are both great trucks but the TRX4M is pretty impressive.

Great hitlist. I stepped into this section last summer with the SCX24. All those cars are cool and so cheap, especial the after-market upgrades. So I'm curious what's coming up next and still hoping FMS'll do more in this small scale.

Awesome video. I currently have a Mini-Z 4x4, but was looking at stepping up to something else in the smaller scale with a bit more performance. I basically narrowed it down to the TRX4M and the SCX24. I'm leaning towards the SCX24 now because of your video, but I'd like to understand why the TRX4M didn't make your list. I would recommend the Panda Hobbies 1:24 and 1:18 scale crawlers. I believe the 1:24 scale crawlers have portal axles. There are spare parts aplenty.

I like the number one truck a lot. It looks like the older Bigfoot which was in our town one time at the tire shop. I got to get inside it. Had to climb in from underneath I remember. Check out the tiny Diatone 1\64 fpv crawler, it looks neat too.

Almost got the smasher myself. But in later releases they changed electronics n took the dip switches off the controller. Turned me off of it at that point.

Trx4m Traxxas come out two speed and Axl for clearance then get more scale bodies maybe add interior they would have the market rest are just not as appealing mini crawlers now full size axial CJ7 jeep and vanquish are killing Traxxas in ways

*We've tested all these on our own terrain but the FMS out the box didn't do that great. SCX24 C10 seems to do great. 👍🛻🪨
