What Power To Pick in DCUO? | Power Recommendations

I think something that doesn’t get emphasized enough and as dumb as it might sound you should pick the power you think is the coolest, 95% of the time your not going to have much trouble beating the content but when your grinding a boss or episode 30 times in a row your gonna want some cool shit to look at. That’s why people drop insane amounts of money real and in game on styles auras and materials. None of that shit makes your character stronger. Unless you plan on dropping serious cash and/or time you’re not going be a top tier player, which is fine you’ll probably have more fun.

It’s really hard to choose a power im constantly changing but my favorite are definitely between electric, munitions, celestial, and rage i would love to be rage i want to be a tank sooo bad but just having to be up close all the time makes me want to switch powers again and the other three powers are actually fun, idk its just something about being a small character with a red ring im a dc geek lol that’s why i look at it this way im having trouble choosing

Ice or Gadget for a beginner..pretty much fun easy solo game to max level.

Yes and no because someone not familiar with a game like this at all or even a young child can get confused with the multiple loadouts you have to manage especially when you are essentially learning about the whole game itself and there aren’t videos like that on KZbin about dcuo that go over stuff like that. Especially ones that are easy to find/searchable if there is any it may be an info dump on a related or non related video

I haven't been able to equip or unequip anything in my inventory since I reached level 30 and equipped the rank patch emblem and the lvl30 weapon. That's all I did. I can't move forward because my inventory is full, doesn't matter wich role, switching slots doesn't help, I can't even remove the gear I'm wearing

If you become legendary aka pay for a membership at least one month. You will have access to every power in the game after that. Any character you make with a paid for power you will still have access to after your subscription membership ends.

My top three toons rn are 376 electric DPS, Eog water healer 374 and 373 fire DPS. Let me say it's easier to lvl up a toon to cr 374 than it is to lvl an art to 200 free to play that is with occasional membership. My main objective is straight artifact xp farming by getting nth metal detectors from fate and spamming t5-6 contents on multiple toons throughout the week. Definitely waiting till double artifact xp to lvl any arts got 200 nth caches and 500k xp stashed in bank atm from farming on my toons.

That’s what I do too wait until double artifact xp then all the xp I saved up from the last 2x xp event to the current 2x xp event levels up a couple of artifacts high enough for me.

if u like dps like real dps u feel me heh i mean u drop on group of adds u wipe them or u burn a boss in mints go gadgets prec or mental st or munti might but gadgets prec is crazy lol. tank side : in ma experience i chose fire cuz of the self heal is crazy or rage tank is good 2 others (trash) ice shield dont work anymore sadly healer ( depends.for me i rather not take dmg at all as a dps so i like water healer ! but if the boss or the adds attack has a shield piercing .u should do sorcery.the burst heal is powerful and if u are in a content where it has a lot DOTs nature is the perfect choice elic and celc are good 2 but haven't tried them so don't know much but yah this wat i think it all depends on ur play style and wat u run the most . and yah troll side gadgets and quantum are the best in the game

I'm new but after watching alot of videos and asking questions on different forums this is what I got based on roles -Tank rage -healer electricity -controller buff feeder Quantum -controller battery hard light -dps gadgets. If you don't have all the powers -Tank fire (you won't really die with ice tank but everyone says fire over ice) -healer sorcery -control gadgets -dps gadgets But this is just for endgame elite raids and PvP Which would probably take some serious grinding if you just want to have fun without joining LFG's it don't matter too much. I need to learn what weapons clip with what the best though, so far i just know brawler shuriken mastery and dual wield bow mastery as i am new I watched alot of dps videos but now realise I don't want to be dps.
