Nobody is mentioning fishing at the Goldfish spot in the Rotten Vale. 10-15min fishing = 99goldscales = 99k Zeny. I think its the easiest way besides the badint mantle

Godbugs are actually more efficient for farming cash at the botanist than Might Seeds once you've got all types of fertilizer. Godbugs are worth 20z less each, but with the growth speed one they both only take one "turn" each for a harvest and with their respective fertilizers you get 10 Godbugs (1200z per box) per harvest to the 6 Might Seeds (840z/box) you'd get.

Ah. I'm not sure what exactly the mission is, sorry, but keep progressing and always doing any requests the botanists give you. If they're not an option at the start, then eventually you'll unlock them through an optional mission they give you. It's been a while so I'm not sure which one unlocks them or when you can get it.

Tons of posts online keep ripping off this guide, and I can tell because they all get the same point wrong. Persistent Pests unlocks the 2nd slot in the tree, not the ability to cultivate Might Seeds.

Actually you need to do the 3 star "Prickly Predicament" quest first to cultivate the seeds, the "persistent pests" quest gives you a second slot for farming which helps too.

Best part about these methods? None of them keep you from doing the others. You can have three Might Seeds cultivating with fertilizer and catalysts while doing high-reward investigations with a Bandit Mantle. Or as UltimateCarl said, have some Godbugs get it on whilst bandit mantling some monsters.

Just do the moswine event quest. If u dont die you get 54000z and a golden egg which is worth 20000z. If u are fast you can complete this challenge in 2-5min.

Common monster items, keep a minimum of 10 or 20, then sell forever and ever. Arrekz mentions that you may have to farm the monster again if you overuse, if you don't sell too many of them that won't happen, and if you do then you know it's common and you'll get it back easily anyway. Sell if you have over 20: Scale, Shell, Sac, claw Probably keep until you have 50+: Horn, talon, tail Never sell: Plate, Ruby/Gem, Mantle

you want to avoid selling most, if not all, items that actually have a use in the crafting of consumables. look at what you've killed over and over trying to get a rare drop. whatever common items they drop, you probably have far more than you'll ever need or use. sell those parts.

Early game (before High rank), you can also find goldenfish ponds. Scales go for 500z for the very small, 1000z for the regular ones and 10,000z for a greater (rare) goldenfish in addition to the many research points. A must to maximize a good gathering run (if you're into that).

You can actually also do High Rank Great Jagras Investigations, and capture it, instead of kill it. Afterwards, you can sell all the rewards, since you won't need the materials for much of anything anyway(maybe not the armor spheres), which would sell for anywhere from 17k to 22k, aside from the zenny reward you get for completing the investigation. If you're already pretty high rank, killing a Great Jagras, should only take you no more than 3 mins, per investigation. So you could be making about 11k per min, when you do this.

The real fastest way for anyone wondering will still likely be the same as it's always been, just augmented to abuse the bandit mantle as well. In every MH game there's been a late-game monster who's drops have been worth a ridiculous amount compared to how long it takes to kill it, such as Ukanlos in 4U dropping on AVERAGE, around 100-200k zennyPER FIGHT. While yes, "you shouldn't sell monster drops because you may need them" is usually 100% true and good advice, late-game you often need an extreme amount of zenny, and specifically hunting a monster with the sole purpose of making money by selling literally every drop is often by FAR the fastest way of making money fast. I never would've managed to get through grinding all the gear I ended up making in FU, 3U and 4U without doing this. Particularly when you go through your item box after a nice farming session and realize you have 180 rathalos wingtalons...... or 80 Akantor claws.... or somehow got 15 rathian rubies while trying to grind for common drops

In Freedom unite, yama was a boy for farming gold. Easiest fight, pretty fast and always had a ton of drops to grab worth a lot. I haven't played much of world (played with my friends copy and waiting for pc) but I am sure there is a monster that is like that.

I personally use the tempered Bazelgeuse investigations, myself. I can kill him in about 7-8 minutes and using the Bandit Mantle, he can drop some nice stuff. Plus his investigations are often around 31k zeni assuming you don't cart. Good money making, and his fight is pretty fun.

Honestly, I think if we're just going for speed here, just pick a monster that you enjoy fighting and sell all of the drops (all of course with bandit mantle). Pick an investigation with high mones while also taking into account the special rewards for selling potential. My personal favorites are Bazel and Nergi since I can average 7 minute kills on them and their drops have pretty high prices. Now instead of doing the sell all thing in the completion menu, I like to just mindlessly grind for a bit like until the investigation runs out and then go to the bin afterwards and sell the excess in case I accedentally sell a gem or something I might have needed to grind otherwise in the future. In one session of grinding, I got about 400k in a half hour.

6* HR page 2/2 deliver 4 fossils - get resource gather gear to increase loot cycles, spawn in rotten veil 1, run to the top right next to Radobaan and you'll be done in 30-35s :) easy skip to forward resource growth

Pretty old video so I'm probably not bringing anything new here, BUT I am new to the game and my favorite method right now is to just spam "Great Jagras" Investigations, speed run the crap out of that poor, weak sucker and then sell all the carvings/rewards, so for between 2-5 minutes of work you get ~10.000 Zenny for the Investigation and then sell the stuff at the same time for an additional 5-10 grand - plus your Palico with a Plunderblade can rack up at least 2-4 k more. You can do a pretty much endless loop of Great Jagras speed runs for 15-30 thousand Zenny per 2-5 minutes of work (time is mostly spent on finding the monster, not really fighting it).

Just a little supplement to what Arekkz suggest (spoiler): You eventually get a plunderblade thing later as a tool for your Palico for befriending a late game grimalkyne tribe, and it lets your palico steal items from monsters. Leveling it lets him get more items and use a boomerang thing to make monsters drop stuff, so you can get excess parts and sell them with it. (also good for just farming parts)

Everyday sign in vouchers are a great way to get good amount of zenny fast, you get 1 everyday and 2 during events, like right now with Autumn Harvest going on. Then go to research guys and manage investigation, press R3 and sort out on reward money, take the highest paying quest and use the voucher on it. Naturally that quest will have 3 monsters on it, but all of them will have their HP downed as well. At the end you will get 2X money for using the voucher.

Farm Zorah. I ended up helping a lot of friends complete that mission, sold 150 odd carapace all together, you're never going to use that many, sell down to 10 or 20, so you have enough for yourself to make gear. Later, you'll find yourself selling elder dragon parts as you help friends farm them for gear.

I find the fastest way to make money is to farm the Zora Magdaros quest with lvl 3 geologist skill. With the right rotation, you can gather from the mining orocrops at least 40 times. The most I've ever done is 76. What you are looking for is Zora Carapaces. Harvest as much as you can, and sell everything after the quest is done. Rinse and repeat. I made Z200k in 3 missions, about 45 mins ish

it's actually interesting that this game has no real simple cheese method to make a ton of money actually. Most games have SOME type of exploit everyone finds to make super tons of money easy, but this is one of the rare ones where you gotta be patient or go farm easy monsters with the bandit mantle to make the moolah XD

It's late but I will contribute little something the 6 or 7 star chief quest that require you to collect 4 ancient fossil is very easy （you can finish within 2mins）, and worth 5k+ each run. There are two nodes very close to the first camp so here you go

Spoiler alert!!!! ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... It's actually more effective to have everyone use their bandit mantle at the same time. The proc will occur for everyone on the team like Arekkz already said, but waiting for it to run out per member does NOT maximize the amount of drops when fighting a single target. Preferrably you want to hunt a single target in an arena quest (rank is not really relevant other than the occasional high price item drop). The damage threshold for it proccing seems to be shared by the team, which i found out during the 3 monster event in the arena and it works better focussing a single target to keep it locked down rather than engaging all enemies (meaning you need to dodge / get roared at). Basically when everyone is wailing on the monster the amount of procs far exceeds what a single person gets per mantle. Not just that, at higher gear levels monster will generally drop dead before the mantle wears off meaning you only used 1 mantle where you could've used 4.

Also you can tage horntaur investigations (from 2000-4100z) Just kill 10 of them. Takes around 2-5 mins so in 10 mins 4000-25000z (And its super easy)

Without fertilizers or anything, might seeds only give 560z every two quests, while Godbugs give 960z every three quests. If you scale them out to six quests, might seeds give you 1780z but Godbugs give 1920z. With fertilizers and using catalysts to get them after one quest, might seeds only give 840z while Godbugs give you 1200z. Godbugs are the clear winner.

If you want craptons of money, just run some investigations for really easy captures and cash out everything but the armor sphere reward. There's no point to hoarding piles of parts for a set you already have built, so cash them out and never be wanting. I easily made 200k on a weekend just doing low-end Jungle hunts like Great Jagras or Kulu while farming investigations/bounties for armor spheres (and figuring out how to git gud). I figured this out about five hours in. It took almost twenty before finding out that I could access the canteen and item box from field camps.

Well, it's already pretty efficient to solo quests. You won't split the money between the players and usually end up with enough money to build whatever you like and even max out your armor. Oh and don't forget to use your lucky vouchers for questrewards. Not fainting during a quest also helps to gain more money :P

investigations have become really the best way for me and its not that hard, since I was trying to get the ps4 trophy to have 1 000 000 zenny, I have done the same quest over and over again, that rewards 81000z, and that amount of money with the daily ticket it becomes 162000, it is really awesome how much money can be made xD

Using the ship is a great way too as you can set all 3 deliveries to sell-able items. I do this when low on zenny and it works great.

Doing high rank great hunt investigation + bandit mantle + vouchers = lots of money. I been doing 3 monsters hunting investigation gives around 68k zenny, with voucher it adds up to roughly around 136k, and what ever bandit mantle manage to squeeze out of my target I make more. All that takes about 20 minutes for me, to me this is much better way to make money than selling stuff.

In 3u,4u, and Gen I got over 5 million. Wanna know how? Sell all your materials. Cause one way or another you gonna fight the same monster a shit ton. Let your box fill up with materials and then sell everthing. You should get at least 100,000 or up depending how much stuff you got in the box.

I know I'm super late, but flame nuts sell for 12 each and you can harvest 80 per on a 1 quest rotation. Giving just under 1k a quest. Cultivating 3 of these gives 3k every quest. I went through and calculated the best one to do

I noticed many people using the charge blade now. Not a big deal but I finally decided to change weapons because I hate seeing everybody play the same thing.....I do miss my chargeblade though. Now im running gunlance / insect glaive

Since I like to fish I fish platinum and golden fish wich each gives golden scale (1k) and platinum scale (2k) super easy and no effort at all

So ive been meaning to tell this asap but i keep forgetting. Anyways, for me ive reached literally millions easily by just picking up lot of kulve materials whenever she is available and selling it. I know i know its limited and not always available but hey, now you've got one more reason to farm kulve. Yes, her materials, if you sell them u will have a million or two before u even know it, and you don't even have to do anything complicated or efficient runs with bandit mantles. I made a note for the materials required to craft, alpha and beta sets. Ones which i had were exceeding the limit i had immediately sold and i couldnt believe getting upto 200K-300K for each type of material. Even the behemoth materials give around 10K each but are harder to farm. But since kulve is not around now, get your plunderblade and keep using it against a behemoth solo. An efficient way for this is to use both palico plunderblade (item or whatever it is) go back to camp, switch palico gadget and back to plunderblade and then repeat until you have enough materials, then just sell them. (Edit : Great sword and bandit mantle go hand in hand with more material drops than with dual blades.) Lmao peace ^^

Just go to investigations sort the investigations by Reward money and then use the daily double voucher and then complete the mission you're rich

are we really not gonna say that farming goldenfish scales isnt arguably the fastest way to make zenny. because at the very least. its better then any methods stated in this video. simple. go to area 15 in rotten vale. central camp. jump down turn left, turn left, crawl through hole. fish for an hr or so. u will walk away with over 100k easy. Gilded scale = 500z (+ = 5000z), Golden scale = 1000z (+ = 10000z). there are 2 pools to fish there right next to each other. fish one, then move down to where the tailriders are, fish the next pool (to the left over the stalagmites), which also happens to be where u catch the prehistoric fish for the "living fossil" achievement. when that one is dry. turn around and go up the hill for the ore, there are 2 baitbugs, a honey, and a devils blight. then hop down grab the 2 flash bugs, turn around and fish hole #1 again. rinse and repeat till u are bored or satisfied.
