I live in Rhode island and have to travel to Massachusetts to get any Fortaleza. Can't find it in Rhode island but yet I can find 818,how sad is that😒

I am honest in these and they are my favorites so there is a lot of overlap but that's because it's what i truly believe. El Tesoro is definitely my favorite Repo. Been enjoying Siete Leguas as well and is a strong contender. Got a bottle of Partida Repo based of your recommendation but its waiting for the New Year first.

I just got a bottle of Cimarron Reposado. $35. It tastes quite good. Very sippable. After I finish my bottle of Tres Agaves blanco, I'll need to decide if that or Cimarron blanco is going to be my go-to silver tequila for cocktails.

I just picked up a bottle of Cascahuin Tahona Blanco. Literally the best blanco I’ve had compared to many reputable brands (Fortaleza, G4, Ocho, Lalo,etc). I would like to see what you thought of it.

I had to call almost 25 liquor stores and I generally got the same story when I tried to get a bottle of fortaleza tequila. Tequila is in a shortage due to covid, everyone started drinking it during the outbreak. Every place I called have been out for months, waiting for the shipment they would place months ago. I ordered it online for retail luckily so get it shipped!

El Tesoro Tequila Reposado finally back in stock in Vancouver, got a bottle love it! Have you tried the Cazcanes Reposado Lui? I’ll probably have to wait 6 months for the Fortaleza unfortunately. The more sales the good brands get, the more capital they will have to expand, I’m hoping all the shortages get better soon!

I just bought a bottle of Cimarrone Repo! … for $70… it was the only bottle left. It’s hard shopping for spirits, because what you see recommended in books or on YT are often being recommended at least in part based on value, and prices in different markets or in different places and times can be WILDLY different. Reminds me of when I had to pay $60 for a bottle of Buffalo Trace, because all my channels and books recommended it as the one to get. But all that love and hype had a lot to do with the fact it used to cost $20-$30/bottle. At a certain point is was worth the money just to finally try the damn thing and I felt lucky to have the opportunity. Now it BT seems like it’s back on shelves and back down in price. But I could have gotten a bottle of Russel’s Reserve 10 year and have money leftover for what I paid on that bottle. I wouldn’t want your job of trying to make recommendations on such a moving target. Especially on KZbin, where people might come across your video years later and assume they are current enough.
