The Vintera’s bridge pickup sounds nice and warm. This is an important quality that the best tele pickups have. I like a bright neck pickup and a warm bridge pickup.

I played the Vintera in Lake Placid Blue today. The first time I ever gave a tele a chance. It was really fantastic! It could be my next guitar.

Played and absolutely loved a 60s Vintera tele tonight… it almost came home with me. I loved the leaner, satin neck and non-lacquered fretboard.

I bought the red Vintera 50s in 2019 and it’s a gem. The Vintera 2 which is launched tomorrow as far as I know has rosewood and vintage tall frets instead of the vintage spaghetti frets.

Vinteras a win for me. Best sounding set of pickups too in my opinion.

It's like most Mexican fenders if you can find a nice lightweight one it will be a good sounding guitar but those are few and far between.

I bought the “Performer” with hum, and it feels better and sounds better than any of the others I picked up. The neck is thinner and so much more comfortable. I love it.

I just can’t help but just really like the Players sound, it’s so hard for me to believe it sounds so good for a economical guitar. I got mine one sale and to me it sounds like a $2000 guitar, I could always modify it, but I just really don’t feel it’s necessary, I loved the sound right out of the box!

Follow up! tl;dr epic tele I was at the guitar shop when they opened on Jan 2 morning, when I bought my Lake Placid Blue 60s Vintera Modified, and it is just spectacular; it’s pretty much my dream guitar. I played both of the above models as well as a few others, including the Ultra (which was a stunning guitar to look at- wow), and the Vintera was my favorite by far. The satin neck is incredibly silky in the hand and the pau ferro fretboard is actually quite beautiful, with great responsive tactility. The resonance of the string-through alder over brass barrels design is lowkey astonishing, quite similar to my hollowbody. For real. I absolutely love the tonal versatility, and find myself frequently using all six settings. It just sings through my AC15, too- made me put my Hot Rod Deluxe in mothballs. I’m a convert from a career playing Gibson and Epiphone axes, and I don’t think I’m ever going back. Hell, it’s three in the morning here, and now I want to get her back out and play.
