Just received the new Santal Intense yesterday. You should do a review of that masterfully crafted perfume. Is now rated 4.79 in fragantica. Every one who smell it yesterday from my family and friends loved it a lot

I have been the proud owner of a bottle of Jermyn Street for a few months and I absolutely adored it. It is the ultimate summer fragrance in my opinion. I was using so much, I purchased a 2nd 100ml bottle. Yesterday, I took delivery of a bottle of 89. Again a lovely, quite enchanting perfume. This one is definitely suitable for all-year-round wear. A while back, I blind-bought a 100ml bottle of Neroli Voyager. A mistake. I found that soapy dry-down quite distasteful. I gave the whole lot to my son. I have yet the Honey Oud. I will get round to that eventually.

You should definitely add Mulberry Fig to that list. It's a great pivot from the traditional male targeted fragrances and really has a great punch for the senses. For me, it also gets better the longer I wear it. My go-to is Honey Oud, but Mulberry Fig is an equal contender. I always wished they made honey oud into a home fragrance as well. It completely has that cozy vibe when you're drinking tea by the fire in your home.

Floris is a really interesting house with a great shop showcasing their heritage. Honey Oud is a great choice and on my list for a pick up later this year. I have No89 which is such a classic scent. It always makes ne think it is the sort of scent that James Bond would have worn when I wear it

I appreciate this list. I haven't tried anything yet from Floris, but I've heard of them for a long time now and I've been wanting to sample all of their releases. Lately, I've been enjoying "Pasha de Cartier Parfum". Recently, I tried for the first time Azzaro "Pour Homme Intense" and I can like it, but not as much as I like the Cartier.

My top three Floris' that I would recommend: 1. Elite 2. Honey Oud 3. Santal Elite is the best by far imo. I wasn't very impressed with Jermyn Street, and No. 89 is a very old school classic (mid-century) English Gentleman Cologne. I respect it for its historical acumen and have it in my collection, but it's not very wearable for me. I would like to get my nose on Mulberry Fig but at $310 it's a hard trigger to pull.

I’ve been to their store. When you enter the store I do feel as if I am going back into the black and white era. I presume it’s kept like that due to historical reasons (& a bit of marketing). My favourite perfume is Santal! I tried honey oud ….. not up my street

Just getting seriously into a sample I've had for a while but didn't pay much attention to until now: Percival. Watched your review of it going back a few years. Yes, it's really something. And, weirdly, I'm getting certain vibes from it--"under the surface vibes," not "in your face" vibes--that bring Zoologist Seahorse vividly to my mind, even though the two of them list zero components in common. What's curious about that, however, is that you noted Percival was hyped as "aquatic" though you didn't catch any of that in it...yet it is perhaps this enigmatic aquatic something in Percival that's bringing Seahorse to my olfactory sense memory. Both are characterized on Fragrantica, in differing orders, as amber, aromatic, floral and fresh, among their many other differing notes. Also, Seahorse is "soft spicy" while Percival is "fresh spicy." I'm just wondering to what extent combos of completely different ingredients (like cinnamon, coriander and amberwood in one, and fennel, cardamom and ambrette in the other) can wind up generating significantly similar, though certainly not the same, olfactory "environments" for the wearer?

I had both Honey oud and Leather oud. I found honey way too irritating as it's so sweet and relentless. You become very overpowered by it. Performance wise it's serious. Get it on your clothes, you smell it a week later. Leather oud is much more masculine and savoury. For my taste, much more wearable.

@@dan-ob7zh Leather Oud is kind of how it sounds. Pleasantly dirty, very Leather Jacket and Hells Angel ultra masculine. I like it. I've now bought 10ml of Honey Oud too since I wrote my previous comment. I'd say it's a lot more unisex than Leather Oud and reasonably long lasting and projecting. Not massive, but better than most Floris. Of the two Leather Oud is probably my favourite but they are both good and I expect Honey Oud may be more universally appealing. Ideally I'd advise sampling or buying a small bottle first (Floris do 10ml bottles in the UK) rather than blind buying
