HVAC tech here, you should definitely change your filters every 30-60 days. Especially if you’re surrounded by fields or have pets. Here in Illinois surrounded by fields and have two dogs, I change it every 3-4 weeks

@ you would be surprised. I’ve been to some customers where they never changed them let alone even knew that had to change it. I would say 90% of the customers I deal with don’t change them out for a year+
