I love this shoe and have had different experiences based on colorway. I will say, amongst all pairs I've had, you have to play with the lacing to get good heel lockdown WITHOUT making the rest of your foot go numb lol. The cushioning is so nice so it's worth it for me, but it does get annoying when I start playing (thinking I've laced them right) only to find that the heel lockdown isn't the best and have to re-lace. I've played on all sorts of courts and really don't understand the traction issues. I did slip in the beginning wearing them, but after breaking them in they squeak and don't collect really any dust for me (especially where the smear thick herringbone is). These are the only low top I can find that gives me perfect cushioning (don't need court feel), traction, and GOOD ENOUGH lockdown and stability.

@@antoniojesena8424 Just have to keep focus on tying to last eyelet tight so that your heel is locked in, but don’t tie the rest of the shoe as tight as you do the last eyelet. You have to pull back and then like up to get good heel lockdown tying.

Great video. For me the gt cut are a great performer. They do need to be broken. The traction is good not great. Fits kinda tight but after they have been broken in they are great. I really love the cushion. At my age and weight I love shoes with great cushion. I don't mind courtfeel but the amount jumping that I do I need impact protection and gt cut 2 provide that. It's gonna be shoe people are gonna be waiting years from now.

Controversial ? Yes . If not laced right you can get heel slip or if it’s too tight ,numbness. Feels great on foot some colorways fit tighter . I wish the orange pair came out way earlier

I just sent my pair back to nike. To all my slightly wide foot to wide foot players dont get these. The heel and lockdown was great for me, but the forefoot was crazy. My toes were num and the compression was to much. It was werid because running up and down in them wasnt bad but when i stop for water breaks the pain would come right back. Had to take them off between runs 😂.... glad they work for you. Great video.
