I love the powder before foundation hack. The trick is to do your skincare, the take a small amount of translucent powder and dust it all over you face, then spray setting spray and put your foundation on with a beauty blender. It helps you to have flawless looking skin and your makeup will last so much longer.

This hack is truly the best i have combo skin and i sweat here in FL and this is the only thing that helps. i love dewy foundations or cream foundation on a light makeup day because they wear off better and doesn't look like you have huge gaps of makeup missing if you accidently rub your face or nose. I have been a makeup artist for 10 years also.!

I have a similar skin tone to Tati and have found an under rated gem for powder highlighter. The Benefit Sugar Cookie highlighter is amazing! Its a very neutral shade and has zero chunky glitter. I have never had so many complaints on my “glow”. It doesn’t emphasize my skin texture and it mixes in on top of my blush without looking funky. I tan pretty often and it looks amazing on my bronzed tone as well. The travel size will last a lifetime!

I sometimes do the powder under the foundation trick when I want to look extra covered. It works best for Oily skin. I would not recommend dry or combo skin doing this as it can enhance dryness.

Okay I had to go back in your videos because I needed a good recommendation for a powder and for the pressed powder-one day I was not paying attention when I was using the concealer and contour under foundation technique and I accidentally powdered my concealer. I decided to go over it anyways with foundation and the rest of my routine and by the end it was the most poreless look I’ve ever had and didn’t cake up surprisingly. I would try that for a full coverage makeup video.

I love the over/under powder routine for summer outdoor events! It's not something I'd do everyday, but for long lasting makeup when you're going to be in the heat, its great! Primer, powder, setting spray.... Then liquid foundation and makeup like normal!
