You can use touchless automatic washes without any issues. Just not ones that touch the car with rollers. I've had my model 3 wrapped for years now. I take it though touchless all the time. Pittsburgh Local as well!

Since I don't ever wash my car (lol) down here in S. Florida, that's definitely not a problem. The other two issues don't seem too serious since my DD car is an extra vehicle anyway. One way to shield your income from a side hustle like this is to put most or all of it into an HSA account. Everything you put into it is not considered taxable income as I understand it. And can pay any medical/dental expenses out of it tax free. If you ever needed the money for anything else, you could use it, but then it would be counted as income in the year you used it. That's my understanding anyway. I got to keep an HSA account from my employer after I retired, and can put in well over $8,000 a year. I don't know much about how to get one otherwise if you don't currently have one, but definitely worth looking into.

IRS HSA contribution maximum for single is 3650 and for a couple 7300 as of 2022. Have fun at tax time 2023 if you put anymore then that.

I can't say if it is worth it or not.. until you have it taken off and see any possible damage done to the vehicle. Also, what IF someone did vandalize it? Are you responsible for that damage then? That needs to be taken into account also, I think.

Trying to figure out the financials on this...If I use my car to make, say, $100 a day, and I bring it in for the wrap, I lose $100 that day in income since I can't use my car. When I bring it back 3 months later, to remove the wrap (and maybe get another wrap), I lose $100 that day too. Assuming I made $300 for 3 months of the wrap, but I lost $200 because I couldn't use my car, was it really worth it to make $100 in 3 months?????

What’s their standards for the quality of your car? I have a 2002 Saturn SL-1 and it has moderate body panel damage, cracked quarter panels, front right end cosmetic damage. Could I still get some level of wrapping?

You're allowed to drive with Uber and Lyft with a wrap on? It says not to on their websites. Wrapify sent me a contract to sign, but I didn't do it because it says they charge 300 dollars if it needs to be taken off before the contract ends and with Uber and Lyft saying not to do it, I panicked and never signed the contract.

I got my first campaign opportunity recently and have had nothing but issues trying to get it going. Every step I have needed to chat with support. The first step to get the background check, the option wasn’t showing up on their website. Nothing is populating in the app, such as photo requests and scheduling. The campaign is supposed to start on the 20th and I still don’t have a date to get my car wrapped. Really considering if this is gunna be worth it if I will continue to have nothing but problems. Did anyone have this issue at all?

I had issues like that too. I think it’s the app; it’s very glitchy. But the company has a good business model in my opinion.

RIPOFFY My car was damaged on wrap installation and I have to leave it that way until the wrap is removed. I'm not happy and will never deal with this company again. Another driver told me that Wrapify did not repair the paint damage on their car. So we will see what happens. About 5 weeks after removal the damage team contacted me and asked for my zip code so they could locate detail shop near me. That was three weeks ago and nothing more. I traded the car last week. And got less for it because they have to fix the paint.
