Our multi-millionaire Dragons may think they're shrewd enough to spot a lucrative business opportunity when it's pitched right in front of their eyes, but they don't always get it right and, every so often, the rejects get the last laugh.
These are the Top 3 Dragons' Den rejects that went on to make millions:
00:01 - #1 Shaun Pulfrey's Tangle Teezer
11:59 - #2 James Nash’s Cup-a-Wine
28:25 - #3 Rob Law’s Trunki Suitcase
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

You come in as a shy, insecure dude witha potenitally good idea, and then supposedly credible people start battering you, being "disappointed" in you, saying you failed, not giving you a chance to speak, defend yourself, deliberately misunderstanding you. You can see he is breaking down and can't fight back, because they are soo against him and his product in the first place. I'm saying this because I had the same experience in a different setting. I'm an architecture student and I had consultations with a mentor, and it went the exact same way. I'm broken at the moment and wanted to kill myself amd drop out. It was probably intended to be "don't come here with serious problem that should've been sussed beforehand", and in Theo's mind, the broken hook was an issue which shouldn't have been an issue in the first place. Admittedly, in Theo's defence, it's not great if the product breaks rather easily during the pitch, and playing Devil's advocate here, the designer probably should have made an allowance for a parent pulling on the product, such as, say, if a child gets it stuck down in a gap and a parent tries to pull it up. Bannatyne later talked about Trunki being a pretty major mis-step by the dragons, and it looks to have worked well for him. You'll usually see one or two at the airport in the Summer.

I live in America (Las Vegas) and recently bought a tangle teaser because I needed a hairbrush and it was the first one I saw at Target. I liked it so much I went back and bought my boyfriend one too. I have extremely thick and curly hair very prone to tangling that normal hairbrushes can’t handle. The tangle teaser is one of the two brushes (the other being the Wet & Dry brand) I’ve found that can actually handle my hair and work to detangle it. I’ve adopted a system of switching back and forth between my tangle teaser and my Wet & Dry brush to get through my hair. This is so random seeing it originated on the British version of Shark Tank. They’re definitely spreading like wildfire here in America. They’re in like every store over here now.
