I'm so excited about the new G&G 0.2% Retinal! I've been using the Ordinary's 0.2% retinal. It's great, but I'm motivated by price. The G&G will be cheaper, because it's 30ml as opposed to 15ml. Plus, the G&G has ectoin. NICE! The Ordinary might be cheaper during their 50% off Christmas sale. I will grab a few then, but I will also have the G&G in my arsenal. Thank you for the heads up, Rob - you're the best!

I can;t believe we are in mid Oct already! Time just flew this year. My fav this year was definitely the Allies of skin multi peptide. Hope to try the Copper peptide they just launched. For a less expensive serum, I LOVE LOVE Timeless Q10. Third would be the MaS copper peptide. Looking forward to being able to purchase it again.

You read my mind! I was just about to order the ordinary’s 2.0 retinal since I have been using 1.0 for over a year. I think I will try all 3 of these recommendations. My favorite product this year for me has been the Stratia interface with the growth hormones. I love this for firming and smoothing, so yet another of your wonderful recommendations, thanks Rob!

I have to thank you for introducing me to Azid. I’ve used azelaic acid twice a day for a while but at a 10% concentration. I now use the Azid 15% and love the results for my acne/redness

My holy grail must be A Game 10. I can never be without it, must be the skincare product I've bought the most, I'm a serious user of this serum. TirTir Ceramic Milk Ampoule is my HG serum, but if we’re talking western skincare, I continue to repurchase Clarins Double Serum and Lancôme’s Triple Serum. I’ve used Double Serum for about 15 years and Lancôme’s since it came out a few years ago.

I didn’t realize how many Korean skincare products I own until I tried to find my top 3 Western products! Bronze medal 🥉 Geek and Gorgeous Power Peptides. They would be higher if they were easier to get in Canada, but unfortunately they ship with DHL and the shipping costs way more than the product Silver Medal 🥈 Byroe English Breakfast Tea Essence. I cannot start my day without it! Gold Medal 🥇 Volition Neroli Complete Crème with Vitamin C and Vegan Collagen. I have honestly never had a moisturizer sink in to my skin so well! No sticky/tacky feeling afterwards. Looking forward to trying my new MAS products and seeing them knock some of these off their pedestals ❤

Love your videos. I was gonna say the ordinary 0.2 retinal. I started using tretinoin recently and I wonder if I should go back to 0.2 retinal - dare I say it if I feel the tret is giving me more wrinkles than the retinal :) ❤ have you heard of that happening? Or am I paranoid lol ❤

Yes! I guessed #1 retinoid correctly - the ordinary retinal 0.2! Love it! You just fixed my fomo - I thought #1 would be something crazy expensive and not in my budget

A313 is my fav product i started this year. I alternate it nightly between my 1% trentinoin. My skin looks better using both products, a313 one night trentinoin the other. The ointment formula makes any dryness I have disappear. I'm so glowy!

Yes, i was going to say in the US, the Ordinary retinal is $14.90 (Target/Ulta Beauty) for approx 15mL, and G&G is $24.80 (G&G) for 30mL. G&G = $0.83 per mL; Ordinary = $ 1.00 per mL. HOWEVER, i can't see anywhere to get G&G other than direct from them via their website. And unless you are going to place an order over $60, you will need to pay shipping, which will negate the savings. (for me, shipping just the A-game20 would be $6.95, bringing the total to $31.75, which is $1.06 per mL.) So I will wait until the reviews come in to see if it's better than the ordinary formula.

Great video. Thanks for separating western and Korean skincare in this case. For my western faves it would have to be 1. Stratia lipid gold; 2. Stratia interface; 3. Beekman 1802 tinted milk serum spf 43. The latter is a new fave, but it's so hard to find that good tint. Sending love ❤❤❤

Honestly, I have tried some really good products this year, most of them Asian, I only have 4/5 western brands in my collection that I use Dr Sam's - Flawless Nightly / Flawless Nightly Pro / Flawless Neutralising Gel MAS - Super Serum / Antioxidant Cream La Roche Posay - Effaclar Duo Dual Action Acne Treatment Tower 28 - SOS Spray ( I've emptied it and filled it with Leucillin Antiseptic Spray for Pets. It's the exact same ingredients & you can get 500ml from pets at home for £15 🤫 Thankyou James Welsh 😉) Lastly I've just bought from some products from Niche Beauty Lab - Theramid | Azid & Copper Peptide - Transparent Lab | Vitamin Enriched Body Lotion. All recommended from yourself 🤗

Dear Rob! I'm happy you love the G&G Power Peptides serum, I really enjoy using it and will probably repurchase it. Unfortunately, I don't like to use the other famous G&G serum, the C-Glow. I could not wait to try it, but I find it too watery, and it stinks a bit, although I'm sure the quality of it is good and it is not expired... Do you have any recommendations for a vitamin C serum? I also have the Numbuzin 5 vitamin concentrated serum, which I really like.

👍Love these videos Rob as I get to hear about top quality products at affordable prices. My finds this year include the G&G C-Glow (your recommendation) and ... your Mad About Skin line! I love everything I've tried. The Multi-Active serum, Antioxidant cream (love the smell too) and SPF are fab and I just tried the chemical peel gel the other night and no irritation! Re: the G&G Power Peptides and the Theramid Azid Serum - can they be implemented into the MAD am routine or would that be an unnecessary 'overload'. Also, which is best to use b4 my nightly retinol - the MAS Super Serum or Antioxid cream? I'd like to incorporate a Vit C inactive b4 my retinol on a regular basis and I thought either of those might work or should I use a specific inactive Vit C alone b4 retinol? Many thanks ❤

Hi Rob, thank you for this video, for me a winner will always be the Avene Xeracalm AD Balm for body, I use it as PM moisturizer throughout spring, summer and autumn(dry and sensitive skin) and AM & PM moisturizer during winter. I have tried many face moisturizers and somehow I always come back to this body balm :-). I have been though an Avene fan since I was a teenager, even though I use mostly vegan and cruelty free products

I was so excited by the launch of Power Peptides, I bought 3 bottles.... and it destroyed my skin barrier for some strange reason. Waited, gave another chance and it did it again. So disappointed, as I love the formula. C-Glow & B-Bomb break me out. A-pad, A-Game10 and all the rest, no problems 😩..... As for Ordinary Retinal, my fav release of the year.
