Can anyone recommend a thicker more durable material than spandex? I’m wanting to do a 1602 spider man costume from before he got his official uniform from fury. I want to incorporate leather in the design for the neck mantle and add a leather spider emblem.

Awesome video! Just a little question- what are your thoughts on half-face faceshells (bottom half). I'm tempted to give it a try as they are way cheaper than the "normal" faceshells. Do you think they are an alternative or just a waste of money?

imo good alternative. it feel like it makes it looks a bit more natural, whilst keeping a nice rigidness too the lower half of your face

the lenses would look weird since the faceshell also puts the lenses in shape giving a symmetrical look

Tip of advice, get a custom suit and if it's too big, go to a tailor and they'll touch it up

Sorry if this is late but I rlly recommend puff paint, downside is you’ll have to have steady hands with it and it can a be a lil spooky at first but there are some videos on it on KZbin and it makes the suit pop out a lot more

You can use puffy paint or hot glue, just check if your cos is plastic when using hot glue since it might burn or melt the fabric
