Could you post a video about best time of the year to buy a house in suburb PA, is it expected prices would go lower due to covid and etc. Thank you!

With those prices you can live in Long Island NY!

Thanks for commenting, keep in mind most of the suburbs housing prices range greatly. Most areas you can find a townhome or condo type for around $150k and I'm generalizing greatly. We like to show and talk about the homes that people find fascinating. Of course those homes are on the pricier side. 😉

Would like to see areas in PA where it's safe, walkable but not those high end prices! We are looking to retire there and wouldn't mind a small condo with all inclusive, am I dreaming??😜
@LivinginPhiladelphia4 жыл бұрын
@Lookingforme Sounds great! Nope not dreaming at all! There are some great condos in West Norriton outside the city. Also super spots inside the city. When do you need to move by?

Living in Philadelphia we have our house on the market and are just starting to look into a condo in PA

Living in Philadelphia budget Aprox. 150,000 with a high down payment. A 1 bedroom or large studio would be good. Thanks for the videos! They are helping us getting an idea! I've seen studios but they look like they are designed for students with an almost non existent kitchen and I need a good kitchen! Lol

@@chilypatsofia Condo's are wonderful options for those who don't want the responsibilities of exterior, lawn and driveway maintenance just to name a few. Plus your less likely to run into issues with neighbors building strange things that affect you. On the negatives, you have to confirm to all the rules set forth by the association and have an extra fee to deal with.

All great areas. Phoenixville has really come up in the last 10 years. Collegeville is a super, family friendly place to live and Limerick has tons of businesses and is close to the "beloved" 422! lol

Unionville.

Beutiful area in Unionville! Unionville PA is in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District which is one of the top in the state. On top of that, it is a super charming area that has retained much of it's 19th century aesthetic. Great choice Robert 👏 Are there any topics you think our viewers would be interested in for future videos?

@@LivinginPhiladelphia It's very close to the legendary Wawa and Franking Mint, not that I patronize FM, but you can see the actual cows, and many years ago I was part of the group that made a professional visit to Unionville High. I grew up in Shamokin, which was a remarkable experience then, but which is now dominated by crystal meth, according to a woman I met whose mother still lives there. So my plan now is to move to Rittenhouse on or about May 1 to resume networking with the Wharton crowd that hangs out there. May will also be my 50th law school reunion, which unfortunately will doubtless be virtual. I have considered other cities, but I realize that I don't know anyone in these other places.
@LivinginPhiladelphia4 жыл бұрын
Congratulations on that milestone at your school! Whatever you choose the team and I wish you luck. That's sad to hear about the Shamokin area. I've heard some stories about a handful of other areas but I've never seen anything directly with the exception of the city. Knowing people is a huge bonus.

@@LivinginPhiladelphia Several years ago, then public events could still be held, I ran into a woman who asked me where I was from. I said upstate PA, and she said, Shamokin. Her mother lives there, and she said it used to be known for coal, but now it's known for crystal meth.
