Aww, it's true. I have so many stories to share of Mr. Fenyves. Please ask me next time I see you in a lesson or Bootcamp class, Michelle! I have stories that range from him accepting a casual invitation to 'jam' with jazz legend Phil Nimmons, to him letting me try his Strad in my lesson, to him hating my rebel black nail polish. I was so mortified, I wanted to crawl into a hole! 😅

As a new student, I can understand about practicing too quickly. Slowing things down, scale runs for example, has made a huge difference in my practice quality. Using a metronome really helps with this. It does take discipline though. So I keep reminding myself speed means nothing without accuracy!
