"Will You Be There" by Michael Jackson from Free Willy deserved to be somewhere on this list. I'm not saying top 10 but it's the literal King of Pop performing a song for a movie that became a bit of a cultural phenomenon. It inspired several sequels and led to a push to free Keiko, the whale that played Willy. Plus the song was performed at Michael Jackson's own memorial.

I agree with most of them, with one exception. I've never heard the National Lampoon song before. But there are a few you left out. I really like the 86 Transformers soundtrack, especially Dare, Instruments of Destruction and The Touch, and the Lost Boys Soundtrack, especially Cry Little Sister, People Are Strange, Don't Let The Sun Down On Me, Power Play... And The Wraith had some good songs too. Where's The Fire, Heart vs Head, Never Surrender... plus many other cool songs from these movies.

I love the Beatles. I think McCartney is a great artist. And "Live and Let Die" was one of his best post-Beatles songs. But "Thunderball" is the best Bond movie theme.

@lp-xl9ld Same. I like the Beatles and Paul McCartney too, although I think ''Hope of Deliverance'' was his best work post-Beatles. In regard to Bond themes, though, I am afraid that I need to disagree with you. I have never heard of Thunderball, and instead of Live and Let Die, I would put either A View To a Kill, Goldeneye or Skyfall.

Lebo M. and Carmen Twillie versus Elton John for the best version of “Circle of Life”: both are great, but the added lines in Elton’s version make the song deeper. “Some say, ‘Eat or be eaten.’ / Some say, ‘Live and let live.’ But all are agreed, as they join the stampede, / You should never take more than you give.” And that’s from the first verse. Per the second verse of the latter, “Some of us fall by the wayside, / And some of us soar to the stars, / And some of us sail through our troubles, / And some have to live with the scars.”
