for some reason i really liked Jaurim i had the feeling like i heard her voice from some where else. in a weird way i have to compare her to Utada (beat style) and Origa (tone of voice). fun fact, Jaurim was featured in G-Dragon's song, Missing You :D

thank you for posting, I'm trying to get into Korean music but I'm finding pop is well... pop. And after hearing that rock isn't well liked in Korea, I thought it was Royal Pirates and Clazziquai for me (both of which I enjoy- but the more the merrier). This gives me some options.

try to listen/watch cnblue's songs/MV ^^ they are Daebak (awsome) \m/ they compose their own songs :) they also play different style's / genre. I also recommended FTIsland, since both of them are from FNC Entertainment label :)

I used a broad definition of 'rock' for this video I suppose. There's 'pop rock', 'electronic rock', 'rock ballad', etc. Someone below was asking if there are "groups that are a little more heavy". There definitely are, but it's just not my taste.

xxbleach97xx It's cool, I think I understand what you're saying; it's just a lot of these groups sound American to me... the stuff I liked however, does have some similarities with Jpop (notably that they like it catchy and well produced)
