Dallas- Fort Worth has been experiencing tremendous growth with no signs of slowing down any time soon.

Atlanta keeps sprawling out further and further.

thanks for viewing.. Actually the core of Atlanta is leading its entire metro area in growth

Its crazy that Kansas City,Cleveland,Milwaukee,and New Orleans are not on here.I bet in the future that those four major cities will be on the top 30 metro pop here soon

Thanks for viewing! Only Kansas City (#31) is close to being in the top 30. It could potentially knock Cincinnati out of the Top30. Cleveland, Milwaukee and New Orleans are decreasing in populatrion.

KC used to be in the top 20 in the 50's. While KC has grown, it has not kept up and has lost ground to cities that have passed it like Denver, Charlotte, Austin etc.

Great skylines and statistics! I thought Greater LA had nearly 20 million inhabitants. And Riverside metro was a big surprise that it is so big!

Greater LA does have 18.4m people. It includes LA metro, Riverside/San Bernardino metro (IE) and Ventura. However this video is a list of the 30 largest MSA and not CSA.

I live in between the 17th and 21st largest MSA, which is considered it's own MSA ranking 75th. But at the same time being part of the 15th largest CSA. Confused yet?

thanks for viewing! Yes.. For places like Tampa-Orlando, Austin-SanAntonio we eventually may need C-CSA's..lol

I forgot Vegas Metro is smaller than San Antonio's yet they still got an NFL team while we got the UFL. Nice ffs

This is false. Maimi metro consists of dade,broward, AND palm beach county putting it at over 7 million. Not trying to be a "know it all" Enjoyed the video!
@TheSkylineKingАй бұрын
@@brandonohara4122 the info is accurate according to the US Census Bureau… you are looking at CSA … this video us about MSA . Also the CSA Miami is ranked #11 ( San Francisco /SanJose gets combined and Boston/Providence gets combined )Also Miami’s CSA is ridiculous and should not be listed as it includes Key West which is over 150 miles away … miles upon miles of water breaks between Miami and Key West
@brandonohara4122Ай бұрын
Okay ya i was thinking combined statistical area. That exceeds 7 mil which isn't that ridiculous because that includes my county which is 4 counties north of miami(100) miles. They only i clude this because saint lucie and martin county are considered part of the miami commuter belt. A lot of people in my city/county work in broward and palm beach counties.@TheSkylineKing

@@brandonohara4122 .. ALL of the large MSA's exist within 35-40 miles of the cbd; all except Miami.. Miami MSA's northern point is 85miles away from the cbd /southern point is 35miles away . If you argue that Miami is coastal..so is SF, NYC, Seattle, LA, Chicago, and Boston, yet their MSA is within 35-40miles. All CSA's exist within 60miles of the cbd, except Miami. Its CSA is beyond ludicrous and should not be allowed.. its northern point 147miles away from the cbd, the southern point, KeyWest, is over150miles away. approx. 300miles from top to bottom.. Huge population-less ocean and land gaps.

The Wasatch Front of utah is missing. Should be around #22 with 2.9 million.

Thanks for viewing. This video only includes the MSA data.. you are referencing CSA data; combines 3 MSAs (Salt Lake City,Provo,Ogden) and 2 MicroSA(Heber, Brigham City)
@mattparker23233 ай бұрын
@@TheSkylineKing it's ridiculous that these are 3 separate MSA's. It's one continuously connected metro area. Salt Lake Valley is geographicly restricted. Not much available land to build on. Still, Utah is the fastest growing state, and on top of the nhl team we just got, we will be getting MLB soon as well. The NFL is a pipe dream.
@TheSkylineKing3 ай бұрын
@@mattparker2323 It is continuously connected. I've been there at few dozen times (Utah is one of my favorite states) . The Census Bureau defines MSA's by commuting patterns; likely there isn't enough commuting between them to meet the threshold . off topic/Odd fact: Key West is 164miles from Miami but it's in its CSA
