Bit late here, but gotta say, I love this video. I've been looking for data on the largest skylines for a while now and this helped tremendously! It even helped me with my top 10 as I completely forgot about Atlanta being there. Btw, ngl Dallas's skyline is kind of underwhelming considering it is the fourth biggest metro in the US. Same could be said for LA.

Pretty decent skyline though it still has yet to even be mentioned in the same conversation as the top dogs NYC,Houston,Chicago,Paris, Singapore etc cuz we all know it’s still light years behind!!!

No American city can be listed in the same breath as NYC or Chicago, Paris? not much of a skyline there... AtL does not excel Houston in Avg Height of its top 50 (Houston #4, ATL #6) .. However, ATL downtown/midtown complex excels Houston (Houston has no answer) In terms number of buildings over 200ft within 10 mile core of Metro area,, ATL 326 Houston 275 Buildings.. Even when Houstons goes 30miles from the core(Woodlands 43.9 sq miles) ) It only has 312towers over 200ft ATL 327. People compare Houston( 640sq miles) to ATL (134sq miles). If you add Perimeter Center(Sandy Springs Dunwoody), and Cumberland (70sq miles) and you truly see ATL 204 sq miles of development excels All of Houstons 684 Sq Miles . Singapore excels Houston and ATL

The atl skyline has radically transformed in the last 10 years and there are even more high rises planned in midtown and up north. It’s insane.

Jacksonville has the worst skyline with more dilapidated buildings they need to do a survey either the cities with worse looking skylines Jacksonville will certainly be in the first place it’s Florida’s worse looking city

I live in between the 17th and 21st largest MSA, which is considered it's own MSA ranking 75th. But at the same time being part of the 15th largest CSA. Confused yet?

@@antdell8730 these numbers are from Jan 2023, things have cooled down a bit since then .. but still quite a few cites (NYC, Miami,Atlanta ,Chicago, Austin )have a significant numbers of towers currently being built

@@brandonohara4122 the info is accurate according to the US Census Bureau… you are looking at CSA … this video us about MSA . Also the CSA Miami is ranked #11 ( San Francisco /SanJose gets combined and Boston/Providence gets combined )Also Miami’s CSA is ridiculous and should not be listed as it includes Key West which is over 150 miles away … miles upon miles of water breaks between Miami and Key West

Okay ya i was thinking combined statistical area. That exceeds 7 mil which isn't that ridiculous because that includes my county which is 4 counties north of miami(100) miles. They only i clude this because saint lucie and martin county are considered part of the miami commuter belt. A lot of people in my city/county work in broward and palm beach counties.@TheSkylineKing

@@brandonohara4122 .. ALL of the large MSA's exist within 35-40 miles of the cbd; all except Miami.. Miami MSA's northern point is 85miles away from the cbd /southern point is 35miles away . If you argue that Miami is coastal..so is SF, NYC, Seattle, LA, Chicago, and Boston, yet their MSA is within 35-40miles. All CSA's exist within 60miles of the cbd, except Miami. Its CSA is beyond ludicrous and should not be allowed.. its northern point 147miles away from the cbd, the southern point, KeyWest, is over150miles away. approx. 300miles from top to bottom.. Huge population-less ocean and land gaps.

That's cap bro. We don't have the numbers of a Chicago or New York which nobody can compare to those two. To say it's not impressive, you have a right to your opinion. However, many viable sources consider it to be 1 of the more impressive skylines in the USA which is adding on new buildings each year. Quality over quantity.
