The scene from Pride and Prejudice where Elizabeth rejects Mr. Darcy and reads him the riot act without swearing once. In the movie it looks like they still want to kiss eachother after all that but they have such a mad on that they don't quite know what to do with themselves. In both the movie and the BBC drama it was done spectacularly.

The multiple proposal moments at the end of Runaway Bride. This film is so underrated and it's my favourite romantic comedy. In fact there are so many scenes. The lu-au scene where he defends her and where he tells she doesn't know what kind of eggs she likes and the type of the honeymoon she really wants. Plus the compilation scene of them hanging out together after she says yes. I simply love this film.

I don't think that I have ever seen a list so spot on to my absolute favorites. The only one that is still one of my favorites is at the end of Ever After and Drew Barrymore confronts her step-mom Angelica Houston and step sister for the last time! Love it! And the newest romantic movie that I find myself watching quite often is The Idea Of You. And there are about 4 scenes that I watch over and over again! ❤

What about 47 Ronin? Before he dies, they kiss for only the second time, and then you know that they get to spend the night together. Before that 2nd kiss and knowing that he is going to die, Kai says this to Mika, " I will search for you through a thousand worlds and 10,000 lifetimes until I find you. " And Mika responds, "And I will wait for you in all of them." After Kai dies, Mika reads the card he left for her and it says those same words.❤

What about the film Broadcast News, when Aaron (played by Albert Brooks) tells his roommate Jane (played by Holly Hunter) that he's in love with her after Jane spends a lot of time with Tom (played by William Hurt.) The look of hurt and sadness on his face after taking an L after Tom made him do the evening report and Aaron started sweating is one of the reasons I keep going back to this movie. Plus Albert Brooks's acting when he says "I'm in love with you! There, I buried the lead!" makes it all the more satisfying that Tom got what he deserved after being such an asshole to them both.

Putting all these great movies aside, number 1, we should have known better gettin into HALF the damn relationships we did after Hollywood gave us the most unrealistic expectations of what love looks like… number 2, having put yourself through some of the bullshit you have, you want to throw popcorn at the screen…. Or another screen at the screen, look, WHATEVER! lol but when you find that one person, and it’s effortless with them, as a grown ass adult, you realize the movies were right all along, they went about it in some stupid ass ways, but they were right…. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, NUMBER C! I couldn’t hear a word that was said, after the 10 things I hate about you…. Because I was drawn to the fact that, unless you in jail, cafeterias ain’t like that NO MORE! Grabbing food off the counter all Willy nilly like that… lol

That's still #1 most romantic part ever in my list. I was in my late teenage when the movie came out, and I was obsessed with finding the one true love who wants to grow old with me. I thought I found the man and I was so happy, then twelve years later that dream had shattered...but I always have that one scene to come back ro, a scene that will still make my eyes watered and heart warmed with hope. 😊 Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore always delivered. I'm still a hopeless-romantic, silly, dreamy middle-aged woman today.
