Another manufacturer that is always improving. A majority of the old Vekomas are underated. The Boomerangs and SLCs had good positive Gs and were quite intense. New Vekoma is a different generation, I can't wait to see more new gen Vekomas in America.

​@@CanobieCoaster if you ride an SLC that was retracked and got new trains it's actually very good and intense. I would say it competes with an old B&M invert. Also flying cobra at carowinds is by far the smoothest boomerang so can enjoy the intensity going backwards

Vekoma have the coolest looking coasters in my opinion. They look so modern and well crafted. I love their restraints too. I've only been on Dejavu at great America before it was moved. I gotta say, it was pretty damn intense, the first drop is complete weightlessness. Love their stuff.

I have a soft spot for Vogel Rok at Efteling. I think it was my first indoor coaster and the combination of the giant bird at the entrance, the complete darkness and onboard music made it such an exciting ride as a kid. Now I'm a bit to tall to ride it comfortably but I still ride it every time I visit.

Vekoma Greatness!!!😍😍 I didn't have long to wait for this. This is an awesome video. Millennium at Fantasy Island in England is a fantastic 'coaster. Not the most thrilling but it has a superb custom layout and incredibly smooth to say its 24 years old this year. And it's big brother Jubilee Odyssey is the best SLC out there IMO. Great to see you acknowledge Megablitz as that's another smooth ride and surprisingly intense. I've done Thundercoaster and that's a very good woodie. Great to see you documenting a fantastic rollercoaster manufacturer and keep the wicked videos coming.😊😊

I've only ever ridden Sidewinder at Hersheypark (before the conversion) and the now-defunct Stinger at Dorney Park. Coincidently, I've ridded those both twice a year apart.

I rode Eejanika about a month ago, I will never ever forget that ride experience. It was so intense that I genuinely could not marathon it even though I tried. All 4 of my rides on it blew my socks off. The inversions are so whippy and the airtime that I got on the full full and 2 half half’s were some of the strongest airtime moments I have ever experienced, rivaling magnum on the magic seat. The views I had going on the lifthill was the best views I have ever gotten on any ride including alpine coasters and alpine slides. Yes including the ones in Switzerland and Germany. One final thing to praise this ride is that it’s actually very smooth on the inside seats but the outside seats are a little jerky but much more intense which is why I personally prefer those seats. It’s a 9.8 out of 10, because I do slightly wish it was longer but it really feels long enough at the same time. You all need to check it out.

My overall coaster count is still pretty low at 30 so far, so I was only able to experience four different Vecomas so far, these being a boomerang (at Freizeitland Geiselwind), Raik, Colorado Adventure and FLY (all at Phantasisland). The later two of these definitely are in my top 10 with FLY taking spot 3 just after Expedition GeForce and Wodan and Colorado Adventure probably being at number 6, ranking after Silverstar and Black Mamba and in front of Taron (weird I know but for some reason besides the launches Taron didn’t do much for me).

While people really hate old Vekoma, I really love the old Corkscrews with Bayerncurve and also the Giant Inverted Boomerang which I got a chance to ride at Parque Warned Madrid. I think this is an unpopular opinion but Vekoma is my favorite manufacturer.

I do like a well maintained SLC or Boomerang or the mk's when they where younger. Unfortunatly most didn't age to well. Their family coaster always where some of the best in the buisness. Most of them give you the feeling you are riding a real coaster and i always am sort of suprised how much i actually like them. And i know plenty of others when you speak to them one on one that they actually agree with us. Its just that a badly maintained old vecoma is about as much fun as one of those zamperla flying coasters. And nowadays they are all good coasters. i do think RMC makes better ones but there aren't that many around in europe.

But those who rode it in 2019, like me, said it was riding much A) smoother B) rougher C) weaker D) faster for some reason. So I actually liked this ride. It had barely any headbanging. So not only were the inversions tolerable, but they were genuinely great. And they had some incredible power, especially because they are all chained together.

Have you ridden Wrath of Zeus at VinWonders? That looks like it has potential for the best Vekoma. Also do you know what the deal with their ride model naming is? It feels like every new coaster from them gets a new model. Some of them aren't even listed on the website. I can't find the Shockwave model anymore, which is odd because I prefer it over the Space Warp. I see you did experience Na Fianna Force. How does it compare to HüK and the others on this list? I have not been on Wrath of Zeus. I think Vekoma gives most of their rides a name so it can be cloned if a park wants one. Na Fianna Force was close to Hals Uber Kopf for me.

Canobie Coaster would say: Number 18: Nighthawk at Carowinds. The prototype flying dutchman does a lot of things well. The layout has very strong positive Gs on the turns and valleys. And they get even stronger on A) the vertical loop B) the corkscrews C) the turnaround after the first drop I love that element. Most of this coaster is comfortable, but there's a notable exception, the final two corkscrews. They can really shake you up.

The woody from walibi balgium had me have the most fun ever on a coaster. I was riding in the back with my friends in front of me. Seeing the cars bounce all over the place was way to funny for me, ad the crying sound of my friends and I rold out of the train XD. Same with the SLC from Walibi Holland. I think the layout of the SLC is beautiful, but they arent smooth. I enjoy them very much, but I understand everybody els XD I secetly hoped that Python from the efteling was on your list. But that is becuause its my baby :D I have been oppertaiting it for 3 years and i am still happy to see that my child coaster can still trill the older guests and make everyone get out with a big smile

I have a feeling that those would be my top 2 as well if I had ridden all these. As it stands, Batwing is my favorite. My memory of Firehawk is a little fuzzy, but if I could ride it again, it would probably be tied with Batwing. I'm a big fan of Blue Hawk, as I love the forces & headchoppers. It was my favorite until I rode Batwing.

Canobie Coaster would say: Number 10: Loup-Garou at Walibi Belgium. This is the only Vekoma wood coaster i've experienced. This company didn't built many, but it showed some promise. The layout is quite good. There are some great drops in A) the front car B) the middle car C) the back car with some really good airtime. But if you want a smooth ride, this is not the ride for you. It is A) very rough B) very bumpy C) very shaky The cushiony trains mitigate this issue for me to absorb the blows, but it may not be enough for some.

Also Odyssey, Millenium and Kumali in the UK are solid Vekomas you should ride the next time you come to the uk Odyssey is truely the king of vekoma slc and is the tallest and fastest among all of them. It has the tallest vertical loop on a vekoma and is considered quite smooth even though it has otsrs. Millennium is in the same park as odyssey (fantasy island) and it is a smooth and a rather graceful ride. It is a Vekoma MK-1200 and it gives Fantasy Island the best Vekoma 1-2 punch in my opinion. Kumali is one of the shenlin slc models and has a really fun layout and considered really smooth.

Ooh Vekoma...🙈 When I read or hear this name, I immediately think of that one SLC at the Movie Park Germany (Warner Brothers Movie World) named "Eraser"! Multiple times renamed and repainted. Eraser -> FX -> Lucky Luke - The Ride -> MP Express -> Iron Claw! Nice layout, but the ride was terrible cause the head cushions continually gave you severe slaps and your head was shaking like hell 😵‍💫😵!

Well me number 1 and 2 are just the otherway around but as a complete package i can certainly understand thats its anybody's number 1 of vecoma. I unfortunatly didn't do gouderix in 2019 and yes it was bad. For the rest i didn't think Mayan was that great but as a group i can see your point (i happen to like them with over the shoulder restraines if they are halfway smooth, yup i must be the weird one in the coaster community). I do have to say all new vekoma's are pretty good extremly smooth and very enjoyable but alas except for Lech a bit lacking in the Umpff compartment. I would say they are probable the best coasters around for those who like thrill but not to extreme.

Blue Hawk at Six Flags Over Georgia. This is essentially one of their SLCs, just in sit-down form. Thankfully it is a lot more _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ than most. It is jerky, but the vest _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ make this tolerable. The positive Gs on the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ inversion at the start are inmense. Then the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ later in the ride are disorienting too. And there are a lot of great _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ along the way as well. Put here the missing words:

I have not been on many big vekoma coasters. The only new one is FLY, but it was too much for me. Loup Garou is too rough for me. I think Speed Of Sound would be my favourite. Didn't like Xpress that much.

The now defunct Goliath at Six Flags New England was _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ with those Premier trains. The old Vekoma ones offer a nice ride experience. These rides are _ _ _ _ _ _ _ . The vertical lift has some _ _ _ _ _ _ visuals and that initial drop has a great _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ . Then you have 3 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ G heavy inversions, and they're extra dizzying going _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ . el condor the original slc protOType (est.1994 my birth year) RODE IT IN 2004 OR WHENEVER I GOT 140CM fuk yeah,greqat potives and head banng cushions for sure, i came out knees shaking having dreamt of condor, goliath and whatnot in the six flag holland for 2 year later or so they pulled outh of the \EU market shame.... maybe we'd had atleast a a b&m inverted r sitdown/floorless coaster.... atleast we have RMC's now and the most inverting one at that
