Yes and no. The jailbreak itself does not slow the phone down in the slightest (proven with a geekbench test). Adding lots of tweaks however will eventually slow your phone down & decrease battery life. Some tweaks cause more problems & performance issues than others. so just watch out for that

Michael Castro I know Wells Fargo worked while I was jailbroken, I know PayPal wouldn’t open you’d have to get a tweak to patch over it. Since it’s semi tethered so if an app is blocked you can just reboot and it should work. Just be careful when add repos and tweaks Cydia allows a lot of people to let people download the tweaks they made so you never know what they put in their tweaks most tweaks you pay for are usually safe
