If you have this trouble then the most important part is to play on 1080p resolution. Do not try higher. Stick with your 1080p screen , but avoid ultrawide or wide in general since those require better hardware. You can get a used PC with at least 1660 Super or RX 580 (better with 2060 super or 6650XT) and you can play a lot games released during 2012-2020 assuming you decrease some graphics on some demanding games.
