@@BeadFlora I can only wish to be half as awesome of a beaded flower maker as you are. I have a sis that used to be a floral arranger and I want to make some for her. She is not well and I think that would help pick her up. I don’t have everything I need to start yet, but I am practicing with some wire and beads. I need a lot more practice. Lol

@@BeadFlora Well, I'm currently working on a drawing. 😀 Your flowers are so gorgeous. I saw a video where you suggested "flossing" the stem. Do you mean with embroidery floss? I actually have some in my stash.

@@perri_6 Yup! I do use embroidery floss for the stems. You're ready to go! Lol This is a great practice project go get started. kzbin.info/www/bejne/emjGc5hql5qGe8U

Excellent video. Thanks for that. I am in Cameroon and I really do want to try out French beaded flowers. I have been into peyote and other beading styles but I have never tried out French beaded flowers and would love to try it out. So if anyone can help with where I can get the wires, it’s really gonna be helpful. Thanks

Useful tips Fen.. Thanks, Unfortunately in my country I could not find all materials you mentioned. Even some beads, wires are different and I couldn't find what I want for that I cancel what I want to do sometimes
@BeadFlora3 жыл бұрын
The wires you buy probably go by mm? For example, 24 gauge wire is .51 mm wire. Besides beads and wire, what else can't you find? Maybe we can think of an alternative.

@@BeadFlora there is no spinner, no colored wires, beads are not round, flora tape does not stick easily and with time it's off.. ,,, until now I manege with the colors and the material I have I am sorry I annoyed you
@BeadFlora3 жыл бұрын
@@alamani9140 Sorry I missed this comment! Some of the beads I use are not round. The Japanese seed beads are more cylinder shaped. It's not necessary to use colored wires. I use a lot of silver wire. I don't think it's necessary all the time to use colored wire. With floral tape, it is hit and miss for us here too. Sometimes it's sticky and sometimes it's not. I suggest wrapping your stems with embroidery floss :)

I just ordered some Yellow and green 11/0 seed beads. Going to try to make some Dandelions. Thanks for this video. Its helpful. Been wanting to try this for a while. 🙂 I have thread and don't sew. never know when you need it...😆. Is 11/0 the size you need? or can you use any size?
@BeadFlora4 жыл бұрын
Yay!! The standard size for beads that the majority of patterns are in size 11 seed beads. :)
