You explained Schumacher’s pit lane win in such great depth and detail. Looking at the regulations at that moment in time, Ferrari and Michael did nothing wrong but how the won seemed a bit ‘unethical’. I guess he would have won regardless as Mika was miles back. this video I MASSIVELY switched it up actually. I doubt many notice it, but it'll be hit or miss. This is the first video I tried out my "dead air" approach. You'll hear it now on playback, but notice the background doesn't even have one hint of noise - no white noise, no hiss, nothing. I wanted to up my audio game to match more of the documentary style I'm moving to. I already have access to very high quality music and want to lean on that more for you all. I can get more depth in the content that way. I need to practice with my own voice - you can hear sometimes I struggle to maintain fullness. I know it sounds really weird but this type of audio style requires stellar mic technique. I was literally sweating the entire recording sessions completely out of breath hahah. and broadcast mics are NOT forgiving. so I struggled a couple places. BUT once I get it, I think you'll all come to really like it. It'll be weird hearing anything else is my goal haha. anyways, not that you asked for all that. I just like to share on the off chance you're interested so you can see things from my end. I'll give you all inside looks when I can haha. good feedback to hear, thank you! it's not as weird as you think considering I spent dozens of hours trying to get it close to right. Hey cranky, i love your videos, m8, i would if you were to do one of these videos on the 1957 german grand prix, its amazing, one of the greatest races ever, with fangio driving the wheels of his maserati after a failed pitstop, pulling fastest lap after fastest lap in the nurburgring, taking the lead on the last lap, going 11 SECONDS FASTER THAN ANY OTHER CAR ON TRACK, breaking the lap record every lap after his pit stop, and i still dont know why there are no videos about this race...

i've got a major obsession with the 50's F1 racing era. I actually had more clips from it in here but no chance they were letting that stay up. Big fan of 57! I would likely make content about 56 first. but I'm biased as a pretty big Collins supporter. To this day I think he had all the pace Fangio did. but 57 is great bc the maestro finally got a challenge in Moss. I'll kick it around and see how it feels, good reco! problem is, it's rare to find someone who cares haha. while I love this sport to my bones and there's nothing better than writing the older stories, It's always hard to justify 30+ hours editing and research on something no one will ever watch haha but i'll def give that another look
@mrmathh36804 жыл бұрын
@@CYMotorsport i also think peter collins had serious pace, and could have been a world champion, he died 2 soon, and hawthorne a few months later, damn, the 50s were sad to say the least... but i mean you could put the title of the video as "fangio is better than senna, schumacher and hamilton, and here's why - 1957 german grand prix" im sure that alot of people would click on the video, but the salt in the comments would be enormous, so im not 2 sure it is worth it lol
@CYMotorsport4 жыл бұрын
@@mrmathh3680 precisely! I have a confession... I actually would take the other side of that.... haha. I actually need to pull the data. but I think fangio's status as goat simply BC of his titles needs a double click. I'm sure it would hold up. but I mean, collins would have won in 56 - he literally handed fangio the title in the last grand prix when he gave him the car. two seasons were run in F2 regs, and the competition in the 50's outside the top 2 was literally non-existent.. damn this makes me want to kick the idea around and write for a couple hours haha. BUT to your point, connecting it to modern F1 IS A REALLY good idea. let me think on that sir - solid reco!

You'd think after they just posted a 97% revenue loss, they'd be open to more creative growth tactics. I'll never forget 2003. Mostly because of the nutjob, but irrespective of the team he drove for, I always had a massive soft spot for Barrichello. IMHO, the majority of times he won (or should have...) showed more actual racing skill than strategy or even car superiority. And what is it with these fruit loops? The one in Germany a few years later(? - dates seem to merge as I get older) was equally as dangerous. TBH, I don't care what happens to them (they brought it on themselves), but they could kill a driver very easily. Read about the Tom Pryce accident if you're feeling strong enough (don't look for any video. I don't know if it's available, I wouldn't look for anything I knew contained a death, but I did see a clip up until the point where the collision happened - unawares of what had happened at the time. Mercifully, it was on the tv and they stopped the film at that point and just described it. I felt sick from the words alone). Watching that pile-up had my heart in my mouth. Though if the worst injury was badly damaged ankles, particularly at a time when despite massive improvements on the cars from the previous decades, drivers were still fairly regularly being killed or permanently injured, I'd call that a win. That poor guy with the ankle injury probably wouldn't agree though. If it was serious enough to finish his career, that would have been a bloody painful injury. But I've seen far worse results from far more innocuous accidents, so I still would take that as a good outcome. As usual, mate, you've made a cracking video. You could make the telephone directory interesting if you wanted to!

@@CYMotorsport first of all thank you for the reply i know you made a video about the dominant eras and the 2011 2012 seasons so let's scrap that idea and if possible try to make a video on what went wrong in the ferrari days of Seb from 2015 to now in 2020 and do you think if he can win championships in the future. That would be great! and i don't know why because of the rumors i guess people are saying that he might leave ferrari midseason but i feel that he is not a coward and can fight back! but if only if suppose he leaves will they under power charles car to show that Seb was having problems with car himself to whoever replaces him anyways i take the rumors as a grain of salt because i believe he is no quitter! what do you think? Anyways thank you very much i feel very good Thank you for the reply! i was very shocked when i saw the notification!

I always respond if I can. I can’t it’s just bc I’m literally only one man haha I still do all this solo. But especially people who engage early I set aside the entire day to talk back. You all are literally a driving force behind my weight in KZbin’s eyes. It would be foolish to not listen. Anyways, yeah that’s one I def have interest for. Check out my 2017 season video. It kinda touches on it. I think I have the story for sebs fall stemming from 2013 even. It touch a bit more too on it in my 2019 downfall video. But this goes DEEP. I can trace it back to Todt’s departure and when Michael started losing. In a weird way it reminds me of the story I wrote for williams. Blinded and flattered by their own success on the back of aero , power, and incredible drivers. When any of those levers fade, you’re left with something not so pretty. And once it starts, it’s hard to recover from in this era of regulations. It’ll depend on what Vettel does that dictates me attention on it. Honestly I could see them pushing him out mid season . Brush up on Prost’s exit before he “retired” came back for one title with Frank and left again. And frankly, Vettel and Ferrari are openly fighting more than Prost who was replaced in the final round. Talk about petty!

I'm not sure I understood from the video... Did Micheal really pass that car under safety car or not?
@CYMotorsport4 жыл бұрын
I can’t prove it with evidence but the testimony says for sure he passed wurz’s Benetton on lap 43. But they were informed 6 minutes too late which in F1 is an eternity

@@CYMotorsport Thank you for the clarification. I was jumping through the video thinking I missed that part. Back in those days the only video footage of a race was from the televised event. I'm curious if FOM would have the tapes of non televised footage.

What an embarrassment to the Church, this priest was running about looking like a Protestant. He kept referring to him as a priest but he certainly didn’t dress like one, wtf was he wearing. Edit: At least he got defrocked, not sure how he snuck into a seminary anyway.

haha it earned a sentence. that's pretty good in my eyes considering this list haha.
