Improvise a ranger band. Get large diameter blown out tube from you local bike shop. Cut the good parts into perfect ranger bands....for all types of uses. Put a cheap metal pencil sharpener in that kit and you don't have to carry the preshaved bag of fatwood shavings. Super glue or epoxy an alligator clip on a piece of cork to slip on the end of that bellows tube, like a wine cork. Make a tiny wooden stake to slip the bellows tube onto and let that do all the work with the fresnel lens fire starter.
